Blue Ocean Fish & Chips is by far the best fish and chips take away restaurant in Taunton and surroundings. Very friendly crew, always best quality fish, and fresh chips. We love the cod, but everything is similarly great!

The fish and chips at Blue Ocean Chippie are absolutely gorgeous. We go nearly every Friday lunch time and they are always great and very tasty indeed! As well as great food, you will always get great service too. They recognised me from early on and always ask after the people I buy the OAP meals

Found this place by chance while staying in Taunton. Very nice Sausage and chips, with friendly service. Definitely be using again the next time we visit.

Been under new ownership for a short while. New people really know what they're doing as I rate this as the best fish and cjip shop in Taunton. Gets busy quickly but they serve people fast

Local chippy to me. Large tasty portions and very fast the times I have visited. A bit expensive but unfortunately we f&c's aren't the cheap takeaway they were some years ago.

Definitely the best fish and chips in Taunton! Always fresh and perfectly cooked and good portions. Friendly staff and everything always runs like clockwork, well managed. There's a lot of other take aways that could learn a lot from Blue Ocean and its staff.

Fantastic- finally a chip shop with a proper large fish, cooked to perfection and the slice of lemon is a great touch. Possibly the best fish I’ve had. Thanks, will definitely pop in again when next in Taunton.

So I have the golden oldie versions as I cannot eat so much - even that is a great portion size - the staff are just such friendly people too. The food is delicious, we have tried much of the menu and recommend ALL OF IT! Best fish & chips in Taunton!!
