We had a fantastic afternoon tea about a month ago. Staff were very friendly and helpful even let us take away what we couldn't finish. The food was delicious and a nice variety even for a vegetarian!! This is a lovely place for a special occasion and made it a day to remember. Thank you so much to

Afternoon tea. It was a bit heavy on the cake and light on the Savory. Scones we're nice. Generous portions. It was a shame our tea came out way before our food. the wasps outside were a right pest trying to get at our jam, I'd recommend sitting inside if you can.

Very pleasant experience, the gardens are majestic and the paths are good for little ones to explore. Definitely worth a visit if looking for a mellow but thoroughly day out. Very reasonably priced also with children under 5 free.

Brilliant food, brilliant service, can't fault it in that respect. But it is pricey for what you get, portion size wise.

We came here for lunch on our visit to Hestercombe house & gardens, excellent restaurant. We was greeted promptly and seated by a polite staff member. It was quite a hot day and we was offered a jug of water with ice and an lemon slice. Which was just what we needed. We both ordered the chicken burg

Always so impressed by the food here! We've had many lovely lunches and today was no different. I had the seafood bisque with crab gnocchi which was divine, it was so refined it almost felt as though it could have been on MasterChef!
