We wanted to get the family together to celebrate my wife's birthday. World's End was excellent. We booked in advance and left our menu list a few days ago and it was ready for us once we assembled. One group was delayed by traffic and the pub held their meals until they arrived. We were delighted by splendid meals and the helpful, obliging staff.

Went for a family meal my Daughter having booked in advance 6 people. We ordered various main dishes and all were cooked well my steak was excellent as were others. Desserts were yummy too. If I were to be at all picky I'd say the coffee was not very nice. The staff were very good friendly and attentive. All round a very enjoyable meal and nice family evening. Will defiantly be going again soon.

After a terrible experience at a restaurant nearby which had left us super hungry and abit fed up, we stumbled upon the worlds end... on one of the busiest Sundays of the year. Even at 3:30pm, these guys were full but after hearing our story they welcomed us with open arms putting us in a lovely function room that they hadn't planned on using. They went over and above to ensure our Mother's Day was saved οΏ½ didn't get the name of our waitress but she was lovely and the manager, Mel (who had made our table for six magically appear) came to check on us too. Happily the food was just as great as the service that we'd received! Next time we'll be heading straight there for sure! Many thanks for saving the day!

We love stopping here on our journey home. Great friendly staff, wonderful food and a great atmosphere no matter what time of year. The specials board is updated regularly. The selection of local beers is good. We discovered the hot chocolate which can be straight or a shot of orange or raspberry liqueur makes it beautiful. Just 10 mins off junction 26 for real food and a warm welcome.

Great campervan stopover! πŸ‘πŸ˜€ Fabulous pub and restaurant with all of it's quirky features! We would still visit this place even if we weren't travelling back to the Midlands from our Cornwall trip! We chose the Steak & Tangle Foot Ale Pie with mash, it was beautiful! It didn't look much on the plate but I was stuffed and I have a big appetite! πŸ˜‹ Very polite and professional staff πŸ‘ 😊 This place has got FIVE STARS from Nigel and Claire! All the best, see you again! 😊

We tried coming before on a Sunday afternoon without a reservstiom and it was packed so make sure you make a reservation for Sundays! We ended up coming on a Friday or Saturday night I believe. We ordered the fish and chips, and those were probably the biggest ones I had ever seen in my life. We were not able to finish all the food! Love the big open space in the back and how there is an outdoor play area for the kids.

This is a large pub, but it is subdivided into small areas which provide a more cosy atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful. The menu is impressive. There is a large car park and dogs are welcome.

A really convenient place to stop if you’re on the M5 and want something better to eat than service station fare at Taunton Deane. The pub is spotlessly clean and has quirky features like the toilets hidden behind a fake bookcase! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was tasty. I had chicken and ham hock pie on a bed of shredded cabbage and mash. Excellent. Will definitely go back.

This charming, characterful, family / dog friendly, country pub is highly recommended. If you've not tried the World's End out recently then you're seriously missing out. It's very spacious inside and out and the beer garden and patio area is fab with a little play area for the children. The food is nicely cooked and very tasty. There's excellent menu choices including a good range of vegan/vegetarian options which kept my daughter happy. The staff are very well trained, friendly and efficient. They cannot do enough to make your experience special. Happy staff = happy customers πŸ˜‰. Today we enjoyed the gravalax and lamb kofta's .... 'seriously delicious'!. The menu apparently changes today so we'll be looking forward to revisiting soon to check that out!! Thinking of joining in with their Wednesday quiz night too. #WorldsEndseriouslybrilliant #WorldsEnd

Amazing food, my woodland chicken was perfect and the wild mushrooms wonderful. Hubbys burger done just and he could have it without the cheese. Great service and lovely staff. I was a bit cold though but would stop us from going again or recommending.

A little more pricey. But absolutely delicious food. There were a few things missing from the menu, which was a shame, considering it was a quiet Friday lunch. (Eg. No peas ) Proper individual steak and ale pie πŸ₯§ with actual shortcrust pastry!!! Very The staff were friendly and very competent. Thank u for a lovely lunch.

Good quick service. Staff friendly, not too pestering. Okay food at reasonable price. Excellent showcase of local history and heritage. The walls tell a story or two. Good facilities and seemed relatively covid safe. Very dog friendly inside and out in the beer garden area. Small enclosed area with play equipment amazing for small children. Overall very good; I would recommend.

Nice steak and ale pie. Lovely big area. I was going to walk away when I saw the sign. No cash. I don't like being dictated on payment. I normally leave a tenner tip. But just put my card in. No tip.
