Visited Tiffins this evening for my partners birthday with our 3. The staff were very friendly, really helpful and good with the children. One of the children is only 1, and we were offered alternative food in case he didn’t want to eat what was on offer (he was very happy with what was on offer, so no alternative needed, but was lovely that he was considered). We had balloons at the table and a birthday banner, and the staff presented my partner with a free birthday drink and decorated a plate of ice cream with a candle and sang happy birthday to him (without any prior organising or request from us). Overall great service, would definitely recommend and a good selection of food. Thank you �
Came in tonight for my anniversary with the children and it was perfect beautifull food friendly staff who were great with the children can’t recommend this place enough �
Visited the restaurant yesterday with my partner and family for my birthday meal and was blown away with how amazing the customer service was. As we walked into the restaurant (and left) the door was opened for us, we were all greeted with a hello and a smile. As we sat down at our table they had put out a birthday banner and hung balloons on the wall for us. The menu gave a great choice of drinks, alcoholic and non, which were exceptional. The food tasted absolutely amazing, lots of different choices which were great. The desserts were also lovely. As it was my birthday the staff also came out with a little cake and candle and gave me a free complementary drink which was another special touch which made me feel great.
Overall the restaurant is spacious, friendly and such a great atmosphere. Will definitely be returning very soon.
Amazing food and super friendly welcoming staff! We had a great evening at Tiffins the food looked and tasted fresh. I have tried a few Indians in Taunton and this was by far the best!
The staff here are fantastic.
Our tables were decorated with balloons and party banners without us asking for it to be done, the Birthday boy girl each had a drink on the house, and they sang Happy Birthday.
We were also allowed to bring a cake which they decorated with candles for us.
They were brilliant with the children too.
Some of the sauces could be a little less watery and are a bit bland but it suits all pallets.
They even offered to make a vegetable korma as there aren't lots of vegetarian options.

Great night, lovely friendly staff who are very welcoming. Fantastic food, I loved everything I ate. Loved it that when it was time to bring out my partners birthday cake all the staff made the effort and came over to the table and sang. Ate here on 4th October - couldn't fault it and I am a picky person! Loads of choice of starters and mains. Desserts - well who goes to a curry house for dessert? These were standard fayre and, yes, it would of been nice to have a traditional Indian dessert. Overall - good clean restaurant, plenty of hot, tasty food, which was well labelled and eager to please staff. Would recommend and visit again.
well what can i say but amazing. went there tonight for my daughter's 16th birthday with some of here friends they put out balloons banners bought out a little cake and drink sang happy birthday to her. the food was lovely would highly recommend it to anyone. will be going there again a big thank you to all the staff there for a great night
took the fam too tiffins tonight for the 1st time ' 2nd time for the wife as she recommend it'' the food service and the staff are very good indeed ' very polite and tables allways kept cleaned

Portion size was perfect plenty of food for your money.
Ordered chicken tikka hot, perfect spice and flavour chicken was very well cooked.
Aloo sag again very good side, nice size potato piece’s.
Nanna and rice.
Couldn’t fault the food or the service.

Excellent restaurant. We were a group of seven and were very well attended. The staff were friendly and always available, the space was very pleasant and the food was simply divine. An experience to repeat when you're feeling like Indian food. I recommend it to anyone who wants to taste the true flavour of Indian food.
Lovely meal tonight. I wasn't quite sure what to expect as reviews were a bit patchy! however it proved to be a delicious meal, all 3 main courses were served hot and beautifully spiced. We eat Indian quite a lot and were impressed. Service was good too. The restaurant lacks atmosphere unfortunately but we were there on a Sunday and so it was probably quieter than unusual. Anyhow we would recommend!

We dropped in here without any expectation and it was a pleasant experience. The ambience was very nice. The service was awesome and the very friendly team has made the dining experience a very memorable one. The food was very tasty and overall a very satisfying experience. I will definitely visit and highly recommend.
Well tried the restaurant which was fantastic, great food & great service and lovely surroundings & decor in the restaurant. So last night ordered a delivered take away from the restaurant & can confirm food was delicious & hot & delivered fast from the restaurant. I can recommend to you all to try it for your selves

I decided to check out the new Royal Taste takeaway menu because I was celebrating a new job and I had heard good things about it. I was not disappointed. The food was delivered on time and the main dishes were packed in numerous sealed plastic containers.
I laid out all the containers to confirm I had everything I ordered. The first thing I noticed was the gorgeous smell of the different dishes, all mixed together, not in any way overpowering. As you can see from the photos, we have white crockery which really made the colours of the food stand out. One trick to consider is warming your plates and dishes to keep the food from cooling off whilst you serve it – especially if you have a lot of dishes.
It’s easy to fall into the trap of thinking that takeaway means eating from your lap in front of the TV. But as you can see from the photos a simple tablecloth and dressing with everything served out onto crockery at the table can turn a takeaway into a sophisticated pleasure shared with family (and friends soon!).
The food tasted incredible with subtle mixtures of spices. Some people, including me, find the texture of food part of the appeal and everything was cooked to perfection.
It’s easy to recommend the Royal Taste for your next Indian culinary adventure!
Absolutely delicious food & amazing service, staff was very polite and professional. I would highly recommend this place as it’s one of the best restaurant in Taunton, Somerset.
