Attended last weekend for a music event run by friends, had a great night, no issues. However that was my first visit so can't say what it's like when it's in 'normal' pub mode but I'm sure it's fine! Decent range of beers, I mostly stuck to the Quantock 'QPA' session IPA on

First of all- When I was looking at places to visit in Taunton I saw the Image of the two people smiling on ladders by the sign and I immediately wanted to go there. I was NOT disappointed. Really good evening yesterday. Guys running the pub were great, and really hospitable. Cider fantastic. Food mostly Pieminister so you know what you are getting if you've had before elsewhere. Definitely have the pork scratchings. Would be very happy if this was my local.

Been in here a few times over the years when I get chance, great pub. Just seems to keep getting better aswell! Friendly bar staff. Walking distance from the train station, great location if you're returning from a shopping trip. Always seems to be busy which is a bonus! Great little out of the way
