Popped here after a walk around the local area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where you can see wild horses, natural winding old woodlands and stunning views. This beautiful pub/restaurant is a very popular hit with local cyclists and dog walkers. Their dessert list is mouth watering along with an i
Great place to stay to recharge your batteries. Stayed in one of the cottages rooms. Although it looks out over the pub garden it was still quiet. There was a table and chair outside the accommodation which is great if you do want a drink in the garden. Pub is lovely with great touches. Would recomm
We had a nice dinner sitting outside in their great outside space / beer garden. The littleuns had a super time playing in the area. Food was great and tasty, and air was fresh and clean - would recommend a visit :)
Great, welcoming dog friendly pub with a lovely garden. We stayed in the rooms on site, perfectly located for beautiful walks in the Quantock hills. Food & drink was all excellent. Only wish I’d bought my MTB as there are some great looking trails at the top of the hill, great reason for another v
Beautiful dog friendly pub. The food was fantastic and the staff were so friendly. The perfect place to grab a beer after a nice long walk. Cant wait to go back here next time we are near Quantock. Amazing place.
Perfect for post walk drinks, I'm sure the food would be great. Very welcoming and well setup for dogs.
Lovely quirky (in a fab way) country pub with lovely tasty food. Dog friendly, ours loved the Pigs Ears (available behind the bar) Thank you
We had a great experience from making the booking onwards. We went for dinner on Saturday evening. We received a lovely warm welcome, and the team looking after the table were friendly & efficient. The food is of a very high standard, definitely 'restaurant' quality for the starters, mains and des
Properly good food and amazing table service! My friend and I arrived after a bike ride and initially popped in for a few pints but decided to stay for food. We sat at the most awkward table at the top of the garden and the lady serving could not have been happier to accommodate us. Perfect recommen
We've been with a 8 people group with previous reservation. It was a sunny day and we had booked an inside table but the waitress did her best to move us to the lovely terraced garden. Good service and excellent food, with good sized portions. The lamb belly is the ultimate suggestion. Don't miss it
