Wow wow wow wow! I wish there was an extra star this place is lovely. We shopped in the shop and ate in the cafe. The shop staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, particularly Trevor the butchery manager, his passion for his job was obvious and I really felt the product I was buying was good quality which was certainly proven when I cooked it for tea 😋
The cafe was clean, bright and the staff were efficient and friendly. The food service was very quick and the food incredible. You're doing a great job Rumwell Farm keep it up xxxx

Always call here when visiting Taunton from Cornwall. It is the the best farm shop in the south-west, top quality food and a great place for lunch or tea and cakes.
Sunday lunch 17th December. Lovely cuts meat and the beef was definitely not too rare. Huge quantities of fresh veg and delicious gravy too. Very attentive and friendly staff. One observation though, they could definitely do with putting a notice on the entrance door on Sunday's advising that the cafe is fully booked as we watched at least ten people turned away at the lectern!
Brilliant service friendly attentive staff delicious food. According to my son the best cafe breakfast he's ever had. Super shop with lots of local produce and a large choice of goods.
What a lovely gesture the staff here did today.
We came here for lunch for my Nan's birthday and when waiting for our desserts to come out the staff kindly added a candle for my Nan!
Safe to say she cried - probably from embarrassment, but she was so grateful and it made her day.
We will definitely be returning as the food was great, lovely atmosphere and the staff even let me take home my dessert because it was lovely, I was just full to the brim!

Restaurant serves a good selection from light bites to full meals. Always get good service with minimum waiting even when busy. Farm shop has excellent choice

Lovely place. I had caeser salad which was delicious...chicken that tasted of chicken!! My partner had ham egg and chips and very generously let me try a bit.....Very good... I will be having this on my next visit!!! Lovely service too. The woman who seated us and took payment was very good with excellent knowledge and friendly manner.
Had a lovely breakfast here on a busy Sunday morning. Food was excellent. The staff were fast, friendly and efficient. The farm shop was wonderful too, with huge amount of choices. Will definitely return!
Lovely spot. Delicious food in cafe. The shop has superb range. On road nearby is a man who has for many years produced carved wood garden ornaments I bought 2 herons.

Went on Sunday for the Carvery...it was just the best we've ever had. It was so hot, which is unusual for a carvery, all the vegetables were fresh and perfectly cooked, the cauliflower cheese was divine, to top it all was the meat, tender and very flavoursome. The only down side was the shocking price of the drinks.
Lovely meal, there were no free tables inside as we didn't book so we were happy to sit outside. It started to rain but we found a protected table. The staff came out as they had managed to sort out a free table so we come inside and eat Although we could have stayed outside, it was nice to be able to go in.
The cafe was good and they offer gluten free. The nut roast was bland and dry so not to my taste. The shop has lots to offer and some good gluten free options

Massive car park with disabled spaces right next to the doors means parking and access shouldn’t be an issue.
For the cafe breakfast is served until 1130 with the main lunch menu starting at 1200. We went for lunch and hadn’t booked which was a risk, we got away with it being shown to a table for 4.
On arrival we were greeted enthusiastically by a member of staff and seated straight away. The cafe is large and spacious we liked the fact you don’t feel like you’re sitting on top of people at other tables.
There is extensive outdoor seating, a climbing frame for children and it looked like they were half way through a project to extend some covered outdoor seating as well.
Wifi in the cafe is available but the mobile signal was also great if you can’t bear to be disconnected at the table.
The menu was great with a lot of options available from toasted sandwiches, to sandwiches, to pasta dishes, fish n chips alongside many other options. The drinks menu was just as extensive with a variety of hot chocolates available alongside various coffees, smoothies, milkshakes and the standard fizzy soft drinks.
At the counter there was a great selection of cakes and pastries meaning everyone should find something to eat and drink no matter their mood or occasion as far as I can see.
Service from the staff was excellent, fast efficient, friendly and also very thoughtful about serving requirements based on different preferences and tolerances. Tom was our waiter, excellent service from him!
The food itself was also amazing! I chose to have the turkey and cranberry sandwiches on their home made granary bread which was lovely! My wife had a burger which she adjusted to remove the tomato’s.
I also had the green energiser smoothie which was absolutely amazing, and a mocha.
Afterwards we went into the shop which was excellently stocked. The choice and variety was excellent.
Based on this experience I would totally recommend a visit for a meal in the cafe and also certainly recommend you check out the shop.
An excellent shop with complete range of foods and deli items from fresh to tinned as well as toys and much more. Didn’t have enough time to fully enjoy the store but definitely be back and make time to come into the cafe too.
What a find! Absolutely loved this place. We went for lunch and couldn't fault the place. Service was excellent and the food was fantastic.
