Came to the restaurant for my wedding anniversary. Was greeted with happy smiling faces, food was absolutely amazing !!!! Genuinely full of flavour and well presented. Would most certainly recommend to anyone and will be coming back to eat in and get takeaway too. Thankyou to all the staff. Excellent.

One of the best Indians in town! The Nepali Soup is absolutely amazing! I recently brought my family here for a meal as they were vising from abroad and they absolutely loved it! The service was spot on, they were very quick and polite, and the food was delicious! It was the first time they had a proper Indian, but they couldn't stop talking about it afterwards, they were that impressed. Would definitely recommend bringing family or loved ones here because they never disappoint 👌🏻 thank you!

Summary: Visited on bank holiday weekend with family. Great food, good service and decent value for money. Location: On the high street of Taunton, this wasn’t just another British-Indian restaurant. Easy access and plenty of parking on street outside. Ambiance: The restaurant is not too big but ambiance is nice and cosy. It can get too crowded too quickly and therefore noisy too. Not an issue though. Facilities: It has a bar, decent sized tables and comfortable chairs. Toilets to use but not in the perfect condition and not very clean. Wouldn’t rate it lower for just this. Service: On our visit despite bank holiday the restaurant wasn’t overly busy but near to full. We sat down and ordered drinks and shortly later starters and mains. The food arrived quickly but overall staff isn’t the best trained for hospitality. It’s just average service. It’s hard to get staff’s attention and therefore it can take a while to get your needs met whilst eating/reordering. Practicality: For a niche cuisine restaurant this place is very well placed location wise. Easy parking outside. Opening hours are reasonable. Their online presence is good which allowed us to find them and book a table over a phone call at short notice. Value for money: The items were fairly priced. Quality of food was pretty good not at all British-cised. Authentic Nepali-Indian cuisine. Portion sizes were also better than average Indian restaurants. Pros: Food. Menu variety. Value. Cons: Service. Overall cleanliness. Items to order: Momos, Aloo bodi tama, Banta and Gurkhali Mix Veg - all breads were good too. Items to avoid: Samosa, Chana masala Highlight (if any): Starters were brilliant. Momos were too close to authentic Tibetan/Nepali momos. Food items have good selections.

About two weeks ago, we were looking for a place to eat before catching our train, and the kind staff was happily able to fit us in even though the whole restaurant was basically fully booked. The food arrived quickly and all our dishes tasted amazing. The prices were good as well. Thanks again for having us! :)

I love this place and frequently order. The food is amazing. Tonight they added spice when I had put “ not spicey” on the notes section when ordering online. It was HoT! When I phoned to say there was a mistake they said they would replace it and within a short time had delivered another. Excellent customer service.

Excellent restaurant offering a variation on the typical Indian dishes. Very popular so it can take some time before food arrives. Not a place for those in a hurry! They serve a very good bottled no-alcohol beer.

We regularly drive the 20 minutes to collect our food from here as it’s by far the best Indian in the area. Always fresh and absolutely delicious. Booked a surprise meal with a very large table of 22 and still the food was outstanding!! No mess ups, food was piping hot, no long waits and great service with a smile. We can never fault this place!!! Thanks ghurka 👍🏼

Hadn't been here for a few years due to lockdowns etc so thought it was worth a try again and I am SO glad that i did! I could not fault anything. All 4 of us had something different that we hadn't tried before and all 4 dishes far exceeded expectations. I regularly eat out and have eaten at all the main competition, if this is the regular standard then this has too be the best in the area. Superb 5*
