Very reluctant to give this place a good review otherwise we might not be able to get a table :-)
If you like meat, this place is seriously good. The steaks are char grilled and seriously tasty. Skip lunch and make space for the T Bone.. you won't regret it. And the Ribs.. oh my God. The St Louis Slab is seriously good (skip breakfast and lunch for that one!).
Apart from that, it's rubbish. I wouldn't bother ;-)
My family and I, visited the Bare Grills restaurant in Taunton today and couldn't have been more impressed.
The waitress was welcoming and friendly, and was very prompt serving our food and drinks.
When the food arrived, we were all blown away; my boyfriend in particular, said it was the best burger he'd ever eaten.
The prices are what you'd expect for the quality of the food, and not once did I find myself looking at my watch, wondering how long it would be.
My only slight issue was that the cans of drink could have been colder, and it would have been nice if we could order tea and coffee, as my parents only ever drink tea.
Besides that, Bare Grills was fantastic and we will most certainly be coming back.

Most amazing food ever ! Had the BBQ tower for two every single bit was delicious, it was so big we couldn't even manage to finish it ! Great service by our waiter called Andie! Highly recommend to anyone will definitely be coming back again :).
Went for dinner last night, staff were lovely and accommodating. Service was very fast! We were in and out in under an hour! We ordered to bare grill with 3 sides and it has to be one of the best burgers I have had in Taunton. The restaurant is quite small so I can see how a large party would struggle but for two of us it was brilliant.
Great food, friendly staff and good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to anyone �

Very fast and efficient staff ensured we were quickly seated, and orders taken within minutes. The food was absolutely amazing! Probably the best steak I have ever had, cooked to absolute perfection. Will definitely be returning very soon x

We've visited Bare Grills both in Taunton and Weston several times and love the food there!
The variety and quality of the food on offer is superb, with the brisket being a personal favourite. We often order the tower or the combo, both of which offer a range of different things to try and are loads of food, so you definitely won't go hungry! If you can't finish (as we often find!), you can get a box to take home what's left and it reheats brilliantly at home for a bonus meal the next day.
Also, the crispy jalapenos are especially tasty, crunchy and not greasy.oily, with just the right level of spiciness (for my taste at least).
Service is great too - we recently had a problem where we were charged for something we did not order, but didn't notice until the next day when we looked at our receipt. After contacting the restaurant, they immediately said they would refund the overcharged items and were very apologetic, which was great customer service.
All in all, if you're in the South West and anywhere around Taunton or Weston specifically, you can't do better than Bare Grills for your BBQ fix!

The restaurant was really busy which is always a good sign- particularly on a Wednesday night. Our waitress,Katie, was lovely, really helpful. The food arrived promptly and was absolutely delicious. The curly fries and burger were delicious. Very, very pleasantly surprised. A great find!
Lush food, large portions and quick service. We had the Gobstopper Burger, dirty pork loaded fries, mac and cheese and pulled pork. Amazing!!
I had the pulled pork and upgraded my chips to curly fries. Also shared a sode of halloumi fries and burnt ends with my fiance. Such lovely food. Was not disappointed with anything. Yummy tasting food, good portion sizes and reasonable pricing

Had a wonderful meal here a week ago. Wonderful service and fantastic food. We tried the burgers, prawns, slaw, Mac n cheese, loaded jalapeño fries and Korean sauce and everything was spectacular. It was a quiet Saturday afternoon so not much atmosphere but that didn’t dampen our great experience. Definitely recommend 👍🏻
We shared a bbq tower for 2, for 2 adults and 2 children. Plenty of food to go around with extras to take home. The food came out hot and fresh. The burgers, ribs, pulled pork, chips, onion rings (real ones!) were excellent. I thought the brisket could be better, a bit dry for my liking and the wings were okay. Great value for money. The young gentleman serving us was excellent and very attentive. Will definitely visit again, thank you.

Absolutely amazing! Was gutted when we ordered another time that they didn't have certain things same as when we visited them. But food tasted amazing and staff was friendly even with it being busy, very helpful. All food tasted great, no faults. Definitely recommend.
Had an excellent meal after the cricket on Sunday evening. We hadn't prebooked, but they were able to fit us in. Tasty food and pleasant service. Our only complaint is that the beer was served in cider glasses. Surely that's naive error.

Our Visit here was amazing we loved the food it was fantastic!! All cooked well and tasted great was hot when severed to us. The milkshakes were also fantastic and made well. The restaurant was clean and well layed out, good music and atmosphere. Staff were all amazing and friendly, good hygiene and excellent service.
COVID-19 related... Staff service... Face mask / face screen worn and gloves in kitchen fantastic to see and the lay out gave good social distancing... Door was open to aloud air flow! Can't fault at all.
Pricing... Was good little more than we would normally pay for a meal but for the food I can't fault that at all as was all good quality and well cooked!! Perfect for a date night or meal out.
First time I've been there a couple of weeks I had a medium well ribeye which was OK but I was jealous of others orders looking at the brisket and ribs arriving at their table.
So I came back today to finish that unfinished business.
Ribs were decent, smoked and charred to a good point and filled with flavour!
Can't go wrong with curly fries.
Crispy jalapeños and onion rings were freshly made but left a very oily taste, could be cause visited quite late. Hence one star down from 5.
The staff is lovely, helpful, always smiley and able to run that fully booked smokehouse efficiently and fast! Honestly would give 3 stars but the service wins that extra star.

It was the food that originally made me reserve this restaurant for a date night. I thoroughly enjoyed the food even though I took some of it home in take away boxes. Great food. A rustic decor. Great vibes. Would definitely return
