They say book online, phone signal very poor in that area, so was impossible. Went in on speck, found us a table. Service was professional and staff very friendly.
Book in for 8 of us. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the lady who took our order was very nice. The food looked and tasted amazing. Prices reflect the quality of food you get so very worth it. Highly recommended and a short walk from Tattershall Park.
After an amazing holiday and en route home, we decided to stop for a spot of lunch.
This dog friendly establishment was fair busy with only Lauren serving today. She was very polite and made us feel very welcome.
After ordering the food came. A panini and spot on with some great flavour, the soup was amazing so thick and tasty, but the 1/2 sandwich was rubbish, old bread, no mayo and no salad. I brought this to the attention of Lauren and the issue was resolved quickly and without fuss.
I would recommend paying a visit and will be back soon.
Sat down for Sunday lunch with 4 adults, a teenager and an infant. Our waitress Sienna was very attentive. Only pork and chicken available for roast though which was a bit disappointing. The food was good. I've paid more for higher quality, but there was nothing wrong. Worth the price I'd say. If you fancy the roast, get in early as they do have limited availability.
Dropped in for lunch after our trip to the NT castle.
Served by the very helpful and attentive Sienna.
Food very acceptable.
Pub was quiet with only a few people in but there were some good tunes playing.
Lovely bar just a short walk from the park, with loads of character, tastefully decorated, lots of choice of drinks wine, spirits, cocktails, lager, beer, cider, soft drinks, hit drinks etc. Prices were reasonable, outdoor seating with heaters, bar was desperate for a wipe down, only negative.
Arrived today, onto the caravan site for my honeymoon. And stopped in for a meal and dessert. The staff was very friendly and welcoming to start with.
The chap who served us throughout was very polite and accommodating also.
We had the homemade pie of the day, and the ultimate bacon cheeseburger.
Both reasonably priced, and tasted amazing. The steak and ale pie was cooked beautifully. And the homemade burger was very well cooked too.
The desserts we had the creme brule and the apple and cinnamon waffle.
Again reasonably priced and made very well.
Two courses and two drinks £49. But the service was that great and food was that good, we left an £11 tip.
Well done too all!
Beautiful pub and food was good but there was only one piece of chicken in the Cajun chicken baguettes so that was a little disappointing but wouldn’t stop me going back. I advise you book if your a party of more than 4 just so your not disappointed.
We've just had a lovely family meal here and it was fantastic. Admittedly, we booked our meals ahead because of the large numbers attending, but the staff had it worked out and we didn't have to wait to have our food served. I had New York Burger with chips, and throughly enjoyed it. For dessert, I cannot recommend the caramel apple pudding with custard enough. Delicious.
This is a lovely family pub, busy enough to give it atmosphere, but still feels intimate.
Highly recommended.
Went with kids, friendly environment and staff. Food really nice, kids menu fairly good, could do with sausages and mash or similar as an addition to avoid chips all the time. Was told there was a 50 minute wait even though it wasn't busy, didn't have to wait that long in the end but suspect it could be a long wait when it's more busy in that case.
We ate here on 11th September 21 and had the lunchtime menu & couldn’t fault our meals, reasonably priced.
The atmosphere was great, the staff’s attitude was very good, polite and helpful.
Would recommend 10/10

Food was amazing , piping hot and our customer service was 10/10 I have not been able to rate a food place like this in a very very long time. Left with a full stomach empty plate well and a doggy bag also another visit booked. No faults here lovely and will return many more times. Thank you so much to the lovely lady serving us today she was 5* didn't catch her name but we were the 3 with my son near the long fire place. 😊😊😊
Went for lunch which was not only reasonably priced but was really good food. I had the two courses from the set menu and portion sizes were very generous. The staff were really friendly too, the lady could see my one year old was getting restless because she was hungry so brought her out a little bowl of chips to eat while her meal was being prepared. Went at a quiet time but service was very fast. Reccomend if you are in the area or on the nearby caravan park.
Food was lovely.
Staff very friendly.
Atmosphere was chilled.
The pub itself was lovely, and spotless. Will visit here again when in the area.
