A beautiful traditional old pub that is steeped in history. Staff are very welcoming, as is the open fires in two of the rooms. Food menu is slightly limited but what they do serve is very good. Beer selection is also good
Stopped by for lunch yesterday and was impressed with the burgers we had. My wife had a meat one, and I had a veggie one. She loved hers, mine was very nice too, along with the homemade chips. The friendly and welcoming staff made us feel at home. We'll definitely be coming back again.
