The Horse Shoe Inn - Tatenhill - Photo album

With a couple of hours to kill we stopped in for a drink and a bite to eat. We received a wonderfully warm welcome from the new manager of the pub who took time to check in with us and see what our experience was like. I’ll tell you what I told him - top notch! We took advantage of the Thursday nig
A very warm and friendly welcome and lovely food in this dog friendly pub. Nice walks from the pub car park too to build up your appetite. Will be back soon 😊
Nice, friendly, welcoming staff, clean tables, condiments and cutlery. Not too busy( lunchtime on a Thursday) lots of choice on menu also special offers changed daily. Nothing seems too much trouble, I would highly recommend
Hi to you all. We came in to have drink and snack last Friday night. When we arrived it was an 80’s night. While we enjoyed the food and drink, the disco music was brilliant and after politely asking if we could possibly request a couple of our favourites, we were thrilled (even started dancing ha
The food was absolutely fantastic! We had a wonderful time here at the Horseshoe. Atmosphere was amazing. Booked for a large party and everyone said how lovely the food was and how friendly the staff are. Service could improve as delays bringing meals out, but think that was due to staff shortages.
We visited the Horseshoe Inn after going to Adventure Farm. We chose the most inn as they was a good selection on offer for vegan, little ones and us. The welcome was great and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and my daughter loved the BBQ cauliflower wings. I’m glad I
Absolutely cracking pint of Pedigree. They're dog friendly. Not tried the food but looks very nice. Thursday night is quiz night. Overall out of 5 I'd would have given it a 6 . Will be going again. Need to try the food !
I rarely leave reviews but felt compelled to for this pub. We stopped in here for food as staying the night nearby pre our Alton Towers trip. The landlord really made the experience for us. So friendly and accommodating - even managing the kitchen’s closing hours to allow for one of our party arrivi
Tradional style pub. Food was good and it was quite busy. Children and dogs welcome. Update: Cosy and warm on a cold evening, Food waiting time not long and good choice. We felt very welcome and were served politely and friendly. Recommended.
Visited for my husband’s birthday, greeted by a very friendly landlord. Served by Molly who was also friendly and polite. Food was great, compliments to Sean the chef Also happened to be quiz night which was good fun
Great pub/restaurant, beer, food, garden, staff. What more could you ask for on a Friday? Fish chips and a pudding.
Really traditional pub with a good atmosphere. Outdoor space and beer garden for the summer and a classic interior of dark woods and tiled floor. Homely with open fires and dogs welcome. Food is very nice and reasonably priced and even has an extensive menu for vegetarians and vegans.
Just had our first Sunday lunch here under new management, food was Fabulous, very obliging service. You really need to visit and experience this for yourselves .
Lovely friendly pub. Definitely another visit. Big well done to Bobby who I believe jumped in at short notice and meal was fantastic! Empty plates all round
Hidden gem, gorgeous beer garden with playground for kids. Lovely staff and great food. We've eaten here loads and never had a bad meal
Pub empty when we went. Always used to be good. Nice food with simplistic regular menu.
A lovely pint of Pedigree and a tasty meal served well presented and piping hot. Helpful and friendly folks behind the bar providing great service. What is not to like?
