Just had Sunday lunch here for four of us.
Result, all.id us were extremely pleased with the wonderful lunch, 3 slow cooked roast pork and one squash pie with veg
Everything was well cooked and very tasty, selected an extra side cauliflower cheese which complimented the extensive vegetable with the main meal
Staff friendly and helpful, had a chat with the locals in the bar afterwards who were very complementary of there pub
We will return another time for another fine meal .
This is such a cozy and friendly local pub. Free pool, darts and even jukebox! Great drinks selection. Thanks for a great time this evening.

We had THE best sunday roast. Top quality and value for money. Local food, perfectly cooked, great beer, friendly service, roaring fire. Highly recommended!

Had an amazing experience at this venue. Although I was performing, I can say that the staff and owners are extremely top notch. They make sure that their customers are taken care of. When a problem arises, they make sure it is handled. I would recommend them to host any event. Great day and night.

Came here with our son. Nicely laid out pub, obviously doing social distancing stuff. The food was good, especially the waffles with biscoff. More than adequate for two people. Nice range of beers (both ales and lagers). Staff were friendly and helpful. We had booked, glad we did as people were turned away who hadn't.

Great place! Friendly!! Great band last Friday night! Atmosphere friendly! So much fun had!! Dancing to father and son reggae band!! So enjoyed my evening!! I will try to bring more of my friends with me next time a hood band like them are playing!!

First time to the Countryman, stopped by on the off chance after our countryside walk with friends, so glad we did staff were pleasant and the quality of the food was excellent, all at very reasonable prices.

Not only do they have pork scratings, they get scooped out like popcorn and are warm. So nice
Regularly eat at this pub, great atmosphere, wonderful owners and the food is amazing. They are having a change of chef, but I'm sure the quality of food will be maintained. Not many pubs as good as this and I've tried a few in my time

My wife and I were so impressed by the quality of the food here. The Licensee (Steve) and his partner Michelle were courteous and helpful. As I said, the food was piping hot, very tasty and large portions. Would highly recommend this place save for the decor which could be improved a tad.
My first visit here with family mid week and very pleasant dining experience. Initially we stopped for drinks in the garden at the rear with it's own pond but decided to go in for a celebratory meal for my sister's birthday. Although she has a strict diet they were able to accommodate her request albeit on the 2nd menu choice, the menu has a good number of options. Very nice staff. We will probably stop again there, if we're passing by.

Highly recommended. Recently went with 7 family members for dinner. The staff were very helpful and efficicent, the food was delicious and plentiful, with a wide choice on the menu. All reasonably priced. Lovely experience, will go again.
