We finally managed to try this restaurant out today for lunch (my birthday) and it did not disappoint. Staff very courteous and friendly, and the food really was excellent, I had the cauliflower starter (people may frown but it was very very tasty) and the burger which was without doubt 'spot on' and we've travelled across America last summer so we are qualified burger tasters anyway we will return and recommend to others, it was not busy at lunch but don't let that put you off xx

My friends and I had the lunch menu. 3 courses for £15.00. The food is interesting, well prepared and tastes devine. Highly recommend this place. The decor is well thought out; a theme of its own. Felt comfortable and staff very attentive and friendly.

If you’ve not been here for brunch yet then you are missing out BIG TIME!!! Two fat tasty sausages, crispy bacon, ‘the’ most perfect poached eggs, a whopper mushroom, delicious black pudding, tomato, beans and sour dough toast! Everything cooked to perfection! Literally THE best brekkie my partner and I have ever eaten!!

It's simple really...from our first visit we soon bacame locals! The decor, standard of food combined with the great service is a true combination of superbness! Truely lovely place to eat, and let's not forget their cocktail menu/bar! For the ale drinker, you have to try 13 guns!

This is exactly how a modern restaurant and bar should be. Exceptionally attractive design that manages to be cosy and inviting as well as sharp and different. Service similarly gets the balance just right, always there when needed but never intrusive. The food is simply the best. It's our favourite.

We enjoyed our time here. Food cooked well. The kids menu was a little dated, everything came with chips. It would be nice for restaurants to realise that not all kids want deep fried fatty food. Overall it was a little on the pricey side. £9.50 for some very small chicken wings - you can get around 5 kilos of wings for £10. so great business model but not good value for the diner.

Fantastic food and excellent customer service at this bistro / resteraunt / bar. This is one of our new favourite places. Great selection on the menu with a few vegetarian options. Lovely drinks menu with locally sourced Wheatley gin. The chef also makes his own sourdough bread which is outstanding. Nice cosy atmosphere. Bathrooms are on the 1st floor. Limited parking outside. Lovely village location.

French style cafe with bar. Very friendly and efficient service. We were passing on a cycle tour and just needed a rest and a drink. They were happy to serve us coffee at the bar. We noticed a very interesting menu and ended up having starters, which were excellent.
