We just had our wedding at the True Lovers knot and to say it was perfect would be an understatement. Heather, Barry and the team were so accommodating and friendly from start to finish which really put us at ease. Especially when other external factors didn’t go to plan. The food on the day was absolutely outstanding, quite a feat given we had over 70 hungry guests. They did everything with military precision, despite the fact that they had been let down on staff numbers that day. We just loved every second of it, and they have a huge part to play in that. We can’t thank you enough TLK team, you’re bloody brilliant. Chris and Chelsea Sherry x

Stopped on the camp site in our moho...lovely setting. We had a fab home cooked meal and the mains were so cheap but a good portion size. Staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Even made friends with our lunatic dog....wish you were on our doorstep ! Thanks for a lovely stay!

Had a Sunday roast there. Highly recommended. Excellent food and very good portions. The large portion is that good they offer a smaller portion if required. Lovely pub and very dog friendly.

On our way to Blamford, stopped here for something to eat. What a wonderful pub and the food was delicious. The pie was so tasty my husband couldn't stop talking about it. I had the fishcakes, again a wonderful meal. Portion big enough to fill us for the remainder of the day. Couldn't thank them enough.

From the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left, we were made to feel very welcome by the staff and locals that were there. Heather and Barry were the prefect hosts . Food was superb, with generous portions. We will definitely be returning.

Charming Pub and a great stop for lunch on our way south. Lovely welcome from lady in bar who pulled 18 pints with a smile. Badger Ales Beat Bitter & Fursty Ferrett chosen. Pre ordered rolls, snacks & chips were soon eaten and appreciated Lovely garden for sitting outside. Noting they have Rooms plus Camping facilities which look good

We had my father in law's wake here and it was absolutely perfect. We had a warm welcome and the pub was really cosy and we had part of the pub sectioned off just for our party. The food for the buffet was outstanding and more than plentiful. (The homemade chips and the spring rolls were particularly tasty.) All in all, the staff were fantastic, the food was amazing, the whole place was clean and they have a kind of lounge area with a fire burning and really comfortable sofas. We are most definitely looking at going back at a happier time. Quite possibly to stay at the campsite they have there.

Beautiful setting, amazing Sunday food. We had the Veggie roast which was excellent, and their scampi was a cut above the rest. It's lovely place to stop after a walk around Badbury Rings, and we were able to bring the dog along as well. The beer has my dad's stamp of approval. Lovely service from staff, friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
