Stayed here for the night after walking part of the sandstone trail. The staff are brilliant. The room is nice with a nice hot shower an comfy beds. The food is lovely. Really nice atmosphere in the pub at night. Nice breakfast as well.
The menu is well priced and the standard of food is excellent. Staff are welcoming and the atmosphere is great, especially with the warmth of a real fire.
We have come to stay near by for my birthday today. We came across this pub by accident, but so glad we did. The staff were all very friendly. The food was perfect and my husband said it was the best guiness he had had in ages. Highly reccomended and would come again of in the area. Thank you.
Great rooms, with a good bed, storage and ensuite. TV reception is rubbish, I felt I needed to reserve a table to eat.
Large and very friendly pub set on the edge of the beautiful picturesque villiage of Tarporley. Nice pub, good beer, cheerful staff, great food.
I stayed here on 18th September 2022 for one night. The room was warm, and bed comfortable, the tea making facilities were excellent. Also there was a tray with bottles on and a small fridge. The Sunday roast was tasty and the breakfast excellent. The only negative thjng was normally bar staff knock
Lovely pub, nice ales and very nice Landlady and Landlord. Highly recommended. I stayed in the accommodation as I was visiting Oulton Park next day which is a 10 minute drive away. It's an ideal base.
What a great pub friendly staff and great food at reasonable prices. Just wish we lived a little nearer.
