Absolutely epic. Great food, great beer, fantastic service....it's always been a wonderful pub, but somehow it's better now than it's ever been. Can't recommend it enough! Looking forward to coming back to try something different.
Relaxed and very friendly staff, absolutely beautiful setting and the home made food was delicious and well presented!! The children ate every last bite and so did we. Would recommend the Sauvignon Blanc NZ and the Malbec. Look forwards to our next visit.
Lovely pub just down from Beeston Castle, well worth the extra walk/drive. We were doing the Sandstone Trail. Very hospitable, and definitely went the extra mile for us👍. Hope to go back soon. We didn't have time for food unfortunately.

Recently re-opened, we received a warm and enthusiastic welcome. Good beers and although we didn’t have a meal the food looked great. Dogs and children welcomed. There is a large seating area outside.
Visited The Shady on Tuesday 17th Oct. Stunning location on the canal and with views of Beeston castle and rolling Cheshire countryside. Sun was shining which always helps. Around 12.45 when I arrived. Staff were very friendly. Ordered a Flat white coffee which was perfect. Looks like staff have be
