Got there at 4pm on sunny Easter Monday. It wasn't busy then. Our foods were well cooked and presented with good price. We enjoyed the food and service. Lots of free parking nearby. However, only a few tables outside at the front.
I absolutely love this pub for a quick lunch or a celebration meal.
The food is always delicious and the portion sizes are massive.

By far the best fish and chips I have ever tasted the food is excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful don't let the price put you off it is 100% worth the money I will definitely recommend this chippy to everyone.

We got recommended the pub from a local after we moored up from our way down the canal from Lancaster to Liverpool canal as we came out of Ribble river into Tarleton. the food and drink was amazing, very friendly staff and atmosphere. Great place for kids (we have two young girls) and dog friendly

Never a bad meal from here. Friday night tea most weeks. Enjoy the batter on the fish - before now, batter from other shops has been greasy and I've been unwell, so don't return - no problems here 😁👍
The food was perfect and my steak was massive with brill service from the manager and all staff a personal service. Try The 20oz. The food was enjoyed from start to finish with banoffee cheesecake. Great menu here and a nice selection of bellybusters. Highly recommended for all. Also great kids menu

Very nice food. Menu is very very large and varied, containing British pub meals, world dishes & curries, American cuisine and extensive burger menu, sandwiches, wraps, subs, paninis and salads. You will be full when you're done.
