Came across this place many years ago, for the last year, friends and myself have been regular eaters here whilst staying the area, food has always been fantastic, the waitresses are really friendly, professional and make good conversation with all patrons even if they have a manic night. You feel welcomed, served prompt as possible or informed if there is any delay. A massive thanks to Jessica tonight who kindly catered for us with a last minute group of 5. A great employee for a great pub serving equally as good food.
Nice lunchtime meal with my wife. Greeted by the tall fair haired young barman who was very friendly(we know him from past visits and he recognised us). We both had the triple chicken which was an experimental dish for us and we both were impressed by it. We received a good service and enjoyed the food.
Great pub for summer. Pleasant surprise when I popped in on my way home. Staff very friendly.
We love it especially the gluten free range very friendly staff one in particular Aaron Jones who is brilliant remembers that I am gluten free
During our first visit to the pub, we were fortunate enough to have the pleasure of being assisted by a truly exceptional waitress Cortney went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable.
From the moment we sat down, it was clear that she was not only knowledgeable about the menu, but also had a genuine passion for ensuring her guests had an outstanding experience. She took the time to explain various dishes, highlighting their unique flavors and ingredients, which greatly assisted us in making our selections.
Her friendly demeanor and warm smile immediately put us at ease. It was evident that she genuinely cared about our satisfaction and was more than willing to accommodate any special requests or dietary preferences we had.
Throughout the meal, she checked in on us at just the right intervals, ensuring we had everything we needed without ever feeling intrusive. Her attentiveness was a perfect balance, and it was evident that she had a keen understanding of when to offer assistance and when to allow us to enjoy our meal in peace.
Her suggestions turned out to be spot-on; every dish she recommended was a delight. It's clear that she not only knows the menu inside out, but also has a refined palate that enables her to make tailored recommendations.
In addition to her impeccable service, she radiated positivity and created a welcoming atmosphere. It's rare to encounter someone who genuinely seems to love what they do, and it was evident that she takes great pride in providing exceptional service.
In short, our experience at the pub was elevated thanks to the outstanding service provided by this exceptional waitress. She set a high standard for service, and we look forward to returning to the pub knowing that we'll be in excellent hands. Kudos to her for making our first visit truly memorable!
Outstanding service from our female waitress at the pub… Cortney. She was attentive, friendly, helped us with food choices and made our first visit truly enjoyable. We'll definitely be coming back for more. Thank you 😊
I had a very nice lunch with my friends today!
The pub has huge parking and tables both inside and plenty of tables outside. We've pre-booked a table inside as they don't reserve tables outside.
The service was very friendly and helpful and everything arrived pretty fast. Our waitress was just lovely!
Drinks were good, there is a wide variety of wine, beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks. We started with the chef's sharring board, which was nice. Then I had the seafood grill special, which I liked expect that the salmon and schrimps were overcooked. Finally, we tried a few different desserts. I really enjoyed the lemon blueberry cheesecake, and the chocolate brownie pudding was so delicious!
Nice pub, plenty of nooks and crannies for small groups, quite large. Even had a small fenced wood I assume for the kids to play in. Lovely and cool inside after a hot day out in Windsor.
Just what you need in a pub for a sunday lunch. Attentive and positive staff, great food options
+ full sugar coke on tap 🙌
Superb little country pub, with a beautiful beer garden surrounded by a stunning woodland area.
Food was fantastic, sea bass & seared scallops accompanied with a mint & courgette risotto.
Topped off with a 1st class service from the hosting staff, Katelyn & Maria.
We had a great time here, locals of the Feathers for a while. we have seen the ups and downs, However we are enjoying the ups of the feathers and long may it continue, a great pint of IPA. A fantastic service we just had a lovley Sunday roast here at, rib of beef was stunnign
On an autumn day we enjoyed the crackling fire and the atmosphere delivered by the team here. We have some lovely conversation with Georgia about the surrounding areas. Pair this with a well cooked rib eye steak with a peppercorn mushrooms, A Spicy chick pea curry to warm up the cockles.
An over all stupendous visit.
Nice venue and friendly service. Wine came warm and was eventually solved with a wine bucket. Some drinks took a long time to arrive, but our food was nice. Would go back again. Also handy for visiting Cliveden.
Bank holiday supreme, we enjoy a lavish meal in the courtyard of the feathers. We had a chef board to share which was lovely.
Service was very friendly, smiling always helps and indeed our waitress Katelyn did so. We received table service in the court grounds and the girls looked after us to the tea.
We visit often and are really enjoying the recent feathers facade. Please keep this going and not changing things like you have over the years. This is great now !
I went to the feathers with my family and had a great experience, as I always do when I go. The food was amazing, came out rather quickly and was really hot and well presented. Everyone ate everything.
The staff are so welcoming and couldn't be more helpful! Will definitely be back
We visited this Saturday pre dating the little ones going back to school next week, Whilst the concern of venturing out with our children was there. We had such a fruitful time, our server i forgo her name. However.... Our service simply exceeded more than one would expect from a pub chain. Attention to our children as well as us as adults was a nice touch.
Onto the food. Is the food pub food? yes of course. However the presentation of the food and how quick the dishes arrived was supreme.
The no leaf salad was a stunning dish and i said to pass my comments onto the chef as the presentation was top notch.
Overall a fantastic visit here, does the pub need abit of paint and some work ? yes of course.
Another visit at the Feathers with the new look inside was brilliant, certainly a great feat.
Lovely food and brilliant service as always! Even though they were very busy we didn't wait too long for our food, and when it arrived it was yummy! We were looked after - the staff are so smiley and can't do enough for you.
I'll be totally honest, I have been to several Chef & Brewer pubs/restaurants before so didn't expect anything amazing. It wasn't amazing but was better than expected.
The food was cooked to a good standard and wasn't dry like I have had in others in this chain before. Small things let it down hence 4 out of 5 stars such as hald a tomato where as I usually get tomatoes on the vine. Taste alone would have been 4.5 for sure.
Service was good and a tip was given as a result. The only issues I have is that drinks took around 10 mins to arrive, we were not asked during any point if we wanted anymore drinks and struggled to get bill. Also we're asked of everything was OK at end of our meal.
Atmosphere can rarely be helped by the venue as it is usually the customers that make or break this. On my visit it was good, warm, well ventilated and cozy.
The staff were really friendly however I think there was a new member who didn't quite know the ropes. That said she was very professional and is anything was let down by a member of staff saying "well you took the order" when wondering which table ordered what items.
Overall all 4/5
