Popped in on the off chance a Sunday Roast would be available and we were very lucky. Fantastic 2 course lunch was wonderful. I had Roast Pork with all the trimmings followed by Treacle sponge and custard ....delicious!
Popped in for a pint following completion of a circular walk in the area. Good range of casque ales. Reasonable pricing at £3.50 per pint. Outside seating and reasonably generous car parking. Looked a good pub. Staff we met were pleasant and helpful. Would visit again if in the area.
The food was really nice and the portions were a good size. The staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome.
Well then, what can say? Except that this was one of the most pleasant Country pub experiences I had ever had the pleasure to enjoy. With a vast and outstandingly brilliant range of real ales on selection at very reasonable prices I would highly recommend it. As for the customer service I received
A fantastic village pub with a great selection of locally sourced food which is cooked with passion! A varied menu and a well stocked bar. It offers a friendly & cosy atmosphere - always full of locals who are welcoming.
The food is outstanding, no processed food it's all home made, & freshly cooked. The pub is very friendly & warm, open fires, friendly staff and regulars. Real ale beers 11/10 a must. Excellent
We were stopping in the next village and walked to the pub there we were made very welcome by the bar staff and locals beer spot on we sat outside and they brought some chips out for free briliant if we are in the area again will call definitely recommend
Had a steak in here, without a doubt the best steak meal. The chips were freshly cut and cooked, brill as I hate frozen chips. Beats major brand steakhouses and I highly recommend this place
Lovely family lunch as usual, celebrating my parents 69th wedding anniversary. Great food well cooked ,good helpful service. Lovely friendly pub ,highly recommended.

Very old traditional pub & Resturant, very cosy, and very good food, & good selection of beer's ,Wines, etc .friendly atmosphere, & staff. Pay them a visit. You wont be dissapointed.😄😄
