Lovely listed building with function rooms up and down stairs. Beautifully presented and recommended for a venue in Tamworth. The staff are polite and helpful. Which brings me to the only problem...disabled access.
First problem is the pots on the path into the building, meaning a helper can't walk
We’ve started coming in here since the start of summer, great beer garden, loads of indoor and outdoor seating, friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere. They do a decent quiz night as well and always has a friendly crowd. Friendly staff and you can tell the owners take pride in the place.

Newly renovated and newly opened. I was pleasantly surprised with the new place. It has been stylishly renovated to fit the style of the old building. The new owners are friendly, helpful and can’t do enough to make you feel welcome. The gardens are a fantastic place to enjoy a summers day drink. I

Live going for a couple of drinks here with the dog after a walk a couple of plum Peters and a couple of packet of crisps .Would love them to do some comedy nights,music nights .Only open at weekends Friday,Sat shame.
Very friendly staff, beautiful surroundings. The current owners really care and you can see and feel that as soon as you enter.

Great pub in Grand stately home just a 5 minute walk from town centre. Stopped off for a pint after beer festival and was impressed with selection, 4 real ales on offer. Manager & staff very friendly. Will definitely pop back next time I'm in Tamworth & hopefully make use of splendid beer garden.
Visited recently for a drink and the place has been done out beautifully. Lovely spacious garden and dog friendly. The function room is also really nice. Bar is well stocked and really friendly service. Looking forward to visiting again soon
