Haven't been here in years, but it was always a decent meal. Has been redecorated and pizza oven added, along with a selection of dishes in addition to the usual carvery menu. We had carvery. Food was hot, good selection of meats and side dishes, good value for money. Options to "go large" availa
Staff friendly and helpful. Food from the carvery was nicely cooked and hot. My son had a pizza which he enjoyed as it was freshly cooked. I'm in a wheelchaur at the moment, there was plenty of room for me even though the restaurant was busy.
Came for lunch the other day, good atmosphere, good drinks and amazing food! Pet friendly which is a bonus, our meals were a really decent size! I couldn't even finish it and I normally always finish food! Will definitely be back over and over!

Staff very friendly, helpful and fully masked during this dreadful time. Food excellent as always. Nice outdoors area overlooking the nature reserve. Kid friendly and dogs allowed in garden too. Two drinks (pint of bitter and a latte), one traditional carvery and one large carvery £25. Very good val

Full carvery. What else can I say. Ordered a couple of Sunday large size. a true family tradition and kids meals. Plenty of meat and fresh veg. Cleaned my plate. Afterward went to garden to let the kids have a play.
Lovely Sunday carvery! Bar staff lovely and friendly and very welcoming. Nice choice of beers on draught and nice selection of wines. Food was tasty and set out nicely. It was getting busy so booking might be advisable. Plenty of parking across the road and would be easy for wheelchair access.
Breakfast starts at 9:00am, staff very helpful and the breakfast was good 👍 it's extra for mushrooms although you do get black pudding as part of the breakfast. All in all very good.
Carvery absolutely outstanding. Fantastic value for money, staff very friendly and efficient. Highly recommended. Definitely will be returning.
