Great place for a pint and and bite to eat right next to the Canal. Good food, draught beers, good location and good service. Prices are good too. Shady outside under the large Willow on a hot day.
A very nice pub. Good food, drinks, nice environment with cheerful staffs. You can enjoy an afternoon there, next to the canal.
Always a friendly welcome, really tasty, good value food, good menu & a specials board. Good selection of drinks including cask ales, canal side pub with lovely garden area adjacent to the canal with a small park for the kids.
Nice pub, on the canal which is a nice setting and can be accessed via the canal if you were on a walk and fancied a drink or a bit to eat. The food was average but tasty. Would recommend the sticky toffee pudding and the mixed grill. Would not recommend the hallumi fries they were not what we expec

Not a bad pub at all - the staff are absolutely awesome people and the beers are really well-kept. A good selection from the Marstons brewery. Beautiful views of the canal and you can watch the boats go by. Sadly, the food is really hit and miss, with each of our meals being a bit dissapointing. Th
Terrific Pub Stop-over, level car park friendly staff, good beer & wines selection, good home made food, next to the Coventry Canal.
Always enjoy my experience at the gate, it's clean, lovely people, friendly staff and such a beautiful spot to drink in the garden by the canal.
