Great to have the pub back open again. Friday night's on back on for us. Along with mid week meals ( save me cooking ) Georgina and Mike made us so welcome. It felt like they had always been there. They have lots of plans for the pub and looks like they are going to be part of the community providing a great place for us all to meet up Just remember USE IT OR USE IT. We have a great chance of lots of events meals and gatherings along with the village hall without having to drive anywhere in our great beautiful village. Xx
Typical English country pub, great beer , great food and superb hosts and atmosphere, we are now locals :-)
The folks are just fab .... very warm & welcoming !!! Limited menu at the moment but the food on offer is absolutely delicious !!!

Great atmosphere, food smelt great (didn’t eat myself). Rugby was on and then live music. Looking forward to going back again!!!

Not been here for a few years, changed hands a few times since then, can safely say that it's still a great pub with fantastic food. Lovely pint of Timothy Taylors landlord and friendly welcoming staff, still has the same atmosphere of a good old country pub that I remember which is a dying thing these days. Well worth a visit, a hidden gem.
Proper old fashioned pop in for a beer pub. Not fancy but warm & friendly.

Lovely friendly staff there and drinks are not too expensive. We did not eat on tjis occasion but we will be going back, as they have a good menu and great deals.
Very nice meal. Friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere. Good service and quite inexpensive. All in all a very pleasant experience.
What a lovely place! Great atmosphere and lovely, reasonably priced food. The staff were all very friendly too.
My wife, daughter and I came for a meal and despite the pub being extremely busy with a 40th birthday party, the food was excellent. The homemade faggots where amazing as was the pizza. My wife also really enjoyed her vegetable lasagne. All three meals were well priced and great value for money.

Came here for my birthday completely by accident. The food was delicious especially the cauliflower chees. Reasonably priced and the staff were really helpful. Would definitely recommend
