Wow, what a fantastic place for Gluten free takeaway food!! Amazing Gluten free Fish and chip shop with the best customer service! ALL DAY, EVERY DAY!! My friend and I took our kids to Drayton Manaor last Tues (24th Aug) and left later than planned. We wanted to grab some food on the way home for the kids and ourselves but with us twomy types both being Gluten free (Coeliac) we knew we'd struggle for us. I did a search before leaving the park and Oceans of Tamworth came up on the search. I checked the map and it was not only about 8 minutes away but also on our way home to Nottingham. So we went for it! Driving through the estate, we wondered where we were going to end up but persisted with it. We located Oceans in a little shopping precinct and so pulled in to the car park. I popped in and asked if they still did Gluten free...... what an answer I got! The owner (I didn't get his name as I was so overwhelmed that we had not only found gf food but a huge choice too) was so helpful and attentive. He was clearly passionate about being able to offer a big Gluten free range and stated they'd done Gluten free for 18 years. He gave me menu which included not only fish and chips, but othe goodies like gravy, onion rings, lemon peppered fish etc and showed me the separate fryer. He showed me how all gf utensils are clearly labelled and kept separate and the gf prep area is also divided off. He kindly gave me a sample of chips and gravy whilst I waited for my order to be freshly cooked. The gravy was soooo good. First chippy gravy I've had in 10 years! He also gave me a sample of the lemon pepper cod which was delicious. As a Coeliac, both my friend and I were given a free bottle of GF chippy vinegar too. I ordered large cod and chips with peas (if I had known the gravy was so good I'd have ordered that instead) and my little boy a kids F&C. Everything was clearly labelled and marked up and GF was packaged in it's own bag and completely separately from my little boys "normal food". And it was such good food! We even got a free portion of Onion rings, which again were fabulous. I genuinely can not recommend this place enough, as the food, choice and service is second to none! So if you are local to them or just passing by from Drayton Manor then this place if definitely worth a visit, especially if you are Gluten or wheat free or Coeliac. They do Gluten Free options all day, every day. So stick with Google maps instructions and get THE best gf food on the move! Thank you to all the staff for all of their help and advice. We'll be back again soon ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

The best battered chips I have EVER tasted! I travelled all the way from France to experience the amazing Belfast Pasty made here, and I was not disappointed! The mixture of potato, onion, sausage (all perfectly seasoned) was such a tasty, feel good treat. The chicken kebab meat was so juicy, it was as soft as butter. The chicken melted in my mouth. I don't know what magic you use to keep your chicken so delicious and soft, but keep doing exactly this. The staff are amazing, the service was friendly and efficient, and the food was epic! I will be back... very soon!

Best fish and chips I've had for a lot of time. Extensive gluten free options. Even healthy non battered fish and salad options! Slightly different without losing the classic fish and chip shop feel. Very friendly staff.

Amazing service at this Chippy! I went in with my two girls after school and the owner was really friendly and welcoming. He took the time to talk with them and let my eldest pour her own slushy and gave them both one free. The food was really nice. Highly recommend this place!

Another great meal last night. I love how gluten free this Chippy is. Not only that, they always go that extra mile to please and listen to their customers needs. Even a few cheeky chips while wait. We've even got to try a taster of something new. Always a pleasure. ๐Ÿ˜

What a gem of a chip shop. Visited a couple of weeks ago as read the excellent reviews and thought we should try it out. So glad we did, Sean the owner greeted us made us feel welcome, my husband is vegan coeliac Sean explained they have a separate fryer for gluten free, cooking oil is vegan so all good. Sean cooked gluten free onion rings, battered mushrooms and chips, wow can honestly say best chips weve eaten in a long long time. Our order was spot on. All staff friendly and welcoming. Cant wait to go back

Food was amazing and we were given a few free chips whilst waiting and samples the dusted cod which is gorgeous, the home made chilli sauce is fantastic. The owner makes a real effort to get to know his customers which is great to see.

My usual chippy doesn't open until 4.30 so did a quick search and found this little gem open. Unlike some other reviews I found the staff friendly, funny and very helpful. I was given taster foods and free gravy pot to sample. Needles to say this is now my new chip shop. Always a good day when a banging chippy comes my way. ๐Ÿ™‚
