A welcome sight after a 3 hour walk along the canal towpath with my wife Pam and our choccy lab Izzy. There is direct access from the tow path to the garden which was good news for Izzy. There are water bowls placed on the grass which is also good news. The pub has a number of garden games such as giant connect 4 and jenga to keep the inquisitive busy. We ate in the garden. The menu is good pub fare with a specials board. The special today was 'Cajun salmon' . Very nice. The selection of ales is impressive too. There is a lot to like about this pub and the village too. When the sun shines here you are In paradise.
