Really welcoming staff and owner, the bar is really well presented and a really cool place to be. There is an excelent selection of beers and cocktails at reasonable prices. I have a young child and always feel welcome even when he is running around like a mad man! I had the pleasure of catching some of the live entertainment, Samwise who plays there every Thursday he was fantastic. Couldnt recommend this place more highly! Thanks for your hospitality guys!!
Wow Great New Years party at the Point Bar always a warm welcome from the wonderful hosts Lyndon & Lisa and a lovely atmosphere for a special night great music and plenty of delicious food to go round I would highly recommend this place took 4 friends who all loved the place xx
Great pub, fantastic decor, variety of drinks is amazing from Real Ales to Gin Cocktails and some of the best acts I've seen. And massive plus that it's both child and dog friendly � massive round of Applause for turning the place from a dated seaside pub into something you'd find in Manchester and London ���
First time eating here. Food was amazing definitely coming back next year. Very highly recommended. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Very quiet.
1st time visiting here but wasn't disappointed, I had the chilli with half rice and chips, husband had the fish and chips, chilli was so tasty and full of meat and mushrooms 😋, staff were so friendly,
Pound for pound this is good value. Fast service from pleasant staff. Tables cleared quckly. More cafe than restaurant but this is reflected in the price.
We stumbled across this place whilst out and about in the car. Loved it that much we had to go back again before we went home. Great place! Love quirky pubs like this. Indoor and outdoor seating is great. Clean throughout and it's dog friendly. Only slight criticism is having to pay for the carpark. Probably because its been abused by people going to the beach. Other than that a lovely find and would highly recommend.
Is a bit low standard but with those prices, is enough good. Especially after the season. We visited on February. Close to the sea, plenty of games for kids.

Fantastic pub!! Nicely/uniquely decorated. Nice big tables and comfortable chairs to relax and have a drink. Watched the football and had wonderful food too x staff extremely helpful and cheerful x couldn't recommend enough xx

Busy bar with some outside seating. Food was okay I wouldn't go out of my way to return for it I'm afraid.
Update have been back for a second go and this time the fish and chips were lovely. 👍
After a muddy stroll on the beach on one of our hottest days of the year we went into The Point for a cold Lager. Got tempted by the Nachos with Chilli Beef. One of the best Nachos meals I have ever had. Loads of Chilli and just Spicy enough with Red Chillies sprinkled on top if you want it hotter. Southern fried chicken wrap also very good. Friendly staff clean toilets. Well worth a visit and we sat outside.
Only stopped for drinks while walking the dog on the beach. Nice atmosphere and great to allow dogs.
Great family bar / eatery, with nice real ales and good food. Live entertainment as well! Highly recommended.
Hubby and I went here to see if it was any better than the previous place.. he ordered a blue moon which is served with a slice of orange which he thought didn't belong there he was pleasantly surprised.. the point burgers where a great treat. All in all a fantastic place to visit 😀
Great pub just off the beach on the road back. Great atmosphere, service good, selection of beers and really great food with service to match! This is a pub with it's own car park, wheelchair friendly and a bit quirky.

We only stopped for a couple of pints. Nice sunny day and was very pleasant. Didn’t eat but the food looked and smelled good. For a holiday area the beer was very reasonably priced. Nice enough place and certainly no complaints
Food was nice, they have amazing loaded cheesy chips, portion is really decent. Quirky decor, staff was OK. It was very quiet when we visited so there wasn't much of an atmosphere, I bet this is different when Summer season is at full swing.
