While driving the NC500, we were looking for a nice bakery for a quick lunch, and this Harry Gow ended up being a great choice. We got a few pies, their soup of the day (which I believe was bacon and lentil), and some paninis. We ended up going back for some more soup because it was so good. There is a nice little park just south east of the bakery to sit and eat as well.

Improved vastly recently. It has had a refurb and looks very modern inside. It also has a seated area to eat in. Nice place for a snack of reasonable value. With regard to alergies the only item gluten free is the meringue. Everything else apparently has gluten.

Lovely staff, good coffees 'to go', great biscuits, and bread, and that sponge cake with jam & cream in the middle (which has icing on the outside) is fabulous. Good value for money. Not coming here and trying their food is a mistake.

Must visit just for the curry pies! This bakers is quite common across the North of Scotland (Inverness and above) in certain key towns. The tain bakery is a good size and has a nice selection of item. Managing Covid-19 with limited access well. Noticed it does close at 3pm.

The steak pie was incredible .... really, really tasty; really hit the spot. Not the cheapest pie, but goodness, well worth it.

The steak and gravy pie is fantastic, coffee machine not working so offered instant coffee (ugh). The pie is worth the visit alone.

Pleasant and friendly staff, good food but occasionally the cappuccino isn't quite hot enough.
