The Sportsman - Tadworth - Photo album

We have been going to the sportsman for 40 years. But we hadn’t been since Shaun took it over. We had the most incredible Sunday roast. So much delicious food, lovely staff, music. The loveliest rural setting. Many dogs, horses, families. Something for everyone. Best meal out we have had for ages. R
The Sportsman is a hidden gem of a Pub that serves excellent food, good beer the staff are really good, helpful and genuinely friendly and most important of all the Pub is Dog Freindly It's Tucked away in a beautifully quiet bit of Surrey right on the edge of the heath, which is the perfect place to
Pleasant speedy service from well trained staff. Huge portion of ham that I couldn’t finish. Chips were skinny not chunky pub style and the fried egg wasn’t as runny as I’d like with ham but a nice dish with good salad and nice beer. Music louder than suits me but the pub was quiet because of the co
Returned here after 10 years having previously visited for a stag do. Friendly welcoming staff, pleasant atmosphere, decent selection on tap, and nice food, in big portions for a reasonable price. The homemade pie went down particularly well with my friend. Large outdoor seating area, popular with
Visited this lovely old pub on a Saturday lunchtime with family and we all really enjoyed our meal. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the food (especially their daily special pies!)was great. Reasonable selection of real ales and tap beers/lagers but unfortunately a very limited choice (ie j
Great location just off Walton Heath and a short diversion from North Downs Way. I lived near here for years but rarely visited as it got a bit cliquey back then. However it seemed fine on this occasion. The garden could have been tidier but food and drinks were great.
Always my place to go whenever I’m craving for fish and chips and cider. The best !
Popped in for a couple of pints of Cider after a round of Golf. Greeted with friendly staff and the pub was clean and tidy. I decided to have a Roast Dinner and it was fantastic, reasonably priced and tasted great. Will definitely be returning.
Nice pub in lovely setting, dog friendly. Big car park and lots of outside seating. The roast beef and trimmings were very good indeed, I must say. The main points lacking from my perspective were the poor ale selection (no pale ales whatsoever!?) and the lacklustre table service. I had to go to t
Best chilli nachos in town. We've only recently ventured here due a friend, have been back several times since. always tend to get the nachos ;) Great staff, great food, friendly all round.
This has got to be one of the best located pubs in the area. Worth a walk from Colley Hill, allow dogs and great beer. Loads of space outside too.
LOVE this place - Seems to be under new management but service and food are as good as ever; took my Dad here for dinner and had a lovely evening. Would definitely recommend !
We visited The Sportsman on Saturday (14 October) evening for the Elvis tribute which was very enjoyable. Although there was a small audience, Matt King got most up and dancing to his set. I had a meal of ham, egg and chips and my girlfriend had steak pie, mash and vegetables before the performance.
We stopped here as part of a Charity walk, great service and great drinks. The food being served looked great - just wish we could have stayed longer to get some!! Once we left we saw they had donated a substantial sum to our cause so thank you very much for that. A proper countryside pub and one I
