I feel definitively at home when I'm in this pub ... The owners are so nice, lovely, and taking great care of you. It is a quiet place, I always feel like I'm eating with family at home. The food is excellent, this pub is in one of my 2 favourites in the surroundings.

Great selection of ales. nice roast price would of been right if home made yorkies served and with a way thicker gravy than the thin stuff we were given. Nearly there.

A rare find - an 'individual' pub that is not part of a chain but run exactly how the owner wants. Howard is an exceptional licensee - one who brews his own beer on the premises. If you are fortunate, you will be there when one of his 'Secret Brewery' beers are available. If not there are always two other brews excellently kept. Good food, good beers and good atmosphere. What more could anyone want?

Excellent roast! The vegetable are freshly prepared and a welcome change to the usual carrots and peas at every other pub.

Nice local country pub. Menu was a bit small, but food very nice. Lots of beers and plenty of parking.

Very nice but not too much choice for gluten and dairy free eaters. They have a pizza menu as well as the al-a-cart .
