How beautiful is this food!!! It was cooked to absolute perfection and it was so reasonably priced for the quality and presentation. We sat in the beer garden with our dog and it was a great spot! It's been so well thought out for customers. The staff were very attentive and service was excellent as always.

Food was really good, specials menu was quite large and options were good. Service was good too, only criticism is that after we'd finished eating it took someone quite an exceptionally long time to come and clear the plates and give us the bill. Otherwise a really good lunch and well priced too.

We called for Sunday lunch. Pleasant and friendly staff. We weren’t a fan of the seasonal vegetables.

Had a wonderful meal at the Ash Tree last night. From the moment we walked into the building we were given a warm welcome from the young staff who were very courteous and pleasant. It was pleasantly busy with a great atmosphere and we both throughly enjoyed our steaks and deserts. We will definitely be heading back there again soon.

Lovely, recently-refurbished English pub. Enjoyed a mid-week lunch. Lovely, we’ll-prepared food from an imaginative menu, served by friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Just what we wanted! Fairly quiet but early lunchtime; we thought there would be a good atmosphere later as it was getting busier. Good choice of ales from respected breweries, mainly local but at least one London - sadly, I was driving! Recommended!

Had a lovely Sunday lunch, roast beef, my wife had smoked haddock both cooked to perfection. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Only downside a large glass of wine £9 35p , come on it's a pub lunch.

Beautifully cooked and presented food! We arrived at 4.30 and were seated in a corner booth. Drinks ordered and menus explained. Our drinks took a little while as they were forgotten, no major problem, so I asked at the bar for our drinks and to order food. Just a small let down by slightly inexperienced /unorganised service. Also a poor habit of referring to all diners as “guys” could be modified. Would definitely return though

First visit for our 19th wedding anniversary. I had crab starter and belly pork. Our daughter had bbq chorizo and pizza and my husband had fish and chips. Mine and our daughters were fabulous but my husband didn't like the fish and chips. The batter was really thick he didn't enjoy it. But worth another visit to try something different.

Had a lovely meal this Sunday, great choice of food, all starters and mains very tasty and well put together, puddings great too. Staff nice, friendly, efficient, quick too but you don't feel rushed. Surroundings comfy, can't fault it and would definitely return.

Never disappointed. Came as a table of 5 for Sunday dinner. We asked to move somewhere a little lighter and the staff moved us to a front window seat which was great. Food was spot on, nice atmosphere and pleasant staff. Thank you

Food was good, Prawn Linguini was delicious, though no courgette as advertised. Not sure if there was a starter special board as the couple opposite had mussels which i did not see advertised. Menus were really tatty, service whilst very polite and friendly was absent, no return to take a dessert order so after 15 mins asked for the bill which then took a further 10 mins to bring card machine. Would I return... Yes as food is good and waiting team friendly.

We went for lunch we hadn’t booked but we were found a seat. It was very busy, but the service was prompt and attentive. We chose from the a la carte menu I had a pizza tri corne and my wife had a burger. Both were excellent . With two drinks -coke and j2o the bill came to £32.
