Our first visit here in quite some time. Was out for a walk and planned to stop off. We ended up having a late lunch, just some wraps, which was served quickly, tasty and plentiful. I couldn't eat all of mine so they gave me a box to take it away.
Polite friendly staff too. The main menu looks amazing so will be returning soon.
Lovely pub food is delicious.. plenty of gluten-free options for Sunday lunch not sure over rest of the menu as we only had Sunday lunch
How beautiful is this food!!! It was cooked to absolute perfection and it was so reasonably priced for the quality and presentation. We sat in the beer garden with our dog and it was a great spot! It's been so well thought out for customers. The staff were very attentive and service was excellent as always.
Driven past the Ash Tree many times but never gone in, except the day of our visit we were passing and feeling hungry so called in for late lunch, which staff managed to slot us in. And we were pleased we did call in.
Big list of specials, so many lovely sounding dishes to choose from. Really tasty food. I had the calves liver which was delicious, my partner had the fish and chips and said the fish was really fresh and huge too. Highly recommended

Food was really good, specials menu was quite large and options were good.
Service was good too, only criticism is that after we'd finished eating it took someone quite an exceptionally long time to come and clear the plates and give us the bill. Otherwise a really good lunch and well priced too.
we've only been here twice but I can say right away that it's a great place to go out and relax. with good food and your favorite drink. nice service, nice atmosphere, good price. I recommend

The food was extremely well presented, and portions could only be described as 'plentiful'. I ate all I could and still didn't finish. I definitely should not have ordered additional sides.
The staff were amazing and, on point, courteous without being invasive and polite whilst not being annoying.
The location is rural, and the atmosphere is cosy with an element of seclusion. May struggle with larger numbers of dinners, but for 2 or 4 is perfect.
If you're going, make sure you have space for ALL the food.

First time visit here. Well impressed with everything. Loved the open fireplace. And I had a lovely meal. Chicken Supreme went down a treat. Definitely worth a visit...
Had a lovely meal this Sunday, great choice of food, all starters and mains very tasty and well put together, puddings great too. Staff nice, friendly, efficient, quick too but you don't feel rushed. Surroundings comfy, can't fault it and would definitely return.
Never had a bad meal here.
Sunday lunches are amazing! Good variety of choices and portions.
The menu is brilliant and would suit all age ranges.

First visit for our 19th wedding anniversary.
I had crab starter and belly pork.Our daughter had bbq chorizo and pizza and my husband had fish and chips.
Mine and our daughters were fabulous but my husband didn't like the fish and chips.The batter was really thick he didn't enjoy it.
But worth another visit to try something different.
Delightful selection of cask beers; lovely, attentive service; very nice food, served with a smile. Slight 'fly in the ointment' were some small flies from the fresh flowers in vases - but you have to admire the effort of fresh flowers in a pub! Good pub.
Great place to eat. Service was 5*+, they really looked after us and we were a large party. Vegan and vegetarian food could have had more flavour, but rest of food was great. Catered for individual needs really well.
Fantastic large menu, there is something for everyone here and every dish is absolutely spot on. The service was friendly and it has that cozy country pub atmosphere, can't fault any part of the food or drink. Only question, why a round toilet seat on a square toilet!?
We called for Sunday lunch. Pleasant and friendly staff. We werenāt a fan of the seasonal vegetables.
Didn't have food this time around as we just had enough time for a pint which was lovely. The food going passed us looked amazing though!
Most loveliest pub Iāve been to very friendly owners and staff, serve every pint with a smileš I work away a lot and being parked up in the area visiting this pub was exactly what I needed needed after a long day.
Most definitely be back again soon hopefully to taste one one of their amazing homemade pizzas and most importantly lovely poured Guinness š»
