Really nice pub inside and out.
Plenty of tables outside, and a nice area to sit in.
All staff are excellent, good choice of food and drink.
The food is great and reasonably priced, very filling and piping hot.
First time stopping here, will certainly stop next time

Lovely Sunday lunch. Busy, but quiet and relaxed, nice beer garden, tidy table, good condiments. Polite, attentive, friendly staff. Generous portion of nicely cooked food. Extra gravy at no extra charge. Very happy to have found The Crooked Billet.

Had a great family sunday lunch here today. The food was great and the service exceptional. As a party of 8 we were served mains & desserts with no delays by a highly efficient cheerful team. Giant Yorkshire Pub with sausage and veg was just the job on a cold spring lunchtime. Pud was great but I've had better sausages at this price point. Couple of cask beers on the bar. Friendly staff. Would drop in again.

Lovely little stopover with plenty of space to park up. Wouldn’t fancy the green field parking area on a wet day - muddy and slopes.
Free, but they expect you to dine there, so do go and enjoy dinner, the food is to die for.
