Visited here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Large car park, large outdoor seating area which was where we sat. Good atmosphere outside & busy for a Wednesday lunchtime. The staff were really friendly, nothing too much trouble. We had some nibbles, missed the starter although there was some tast
We went for a Sunday afternoon roast. The service was great and the food was excellent. We had the private room which is lovely if you have a big group. It gives you that home away from home vibe. Food was slightly pricey, but staff were friendly and ensured we had everything we needed. I would high
Went for the classic car show, held first Tuesday of the month. In aid of rainbows. Excellent turn out. Limited bar. Cashless. Outside catering, cheese burgers etc. Not to bad.
Outstanding lunch 👌 in a beautiful country Inn sitting in a lovely courtyard. Staff are very friendly and the food is excellent...recommend this place to anyone in the area. There is is a lovely beer garden as well.
We went to the Griffin Inn for a wedding reception. Wow what a fantastic place the reception room was beautiful and the weather was nice so we also used the outdoor area which was well kept with tables and lawns and nice views. The staff were amazing so polite and helpful. The food was first class a
A nice atmosphere and decorated venue but the food portions are small and quite steeply priced. Enjoyed the ambience but not the £16 pea ravioli which came in at £2 per ravioli with this portion.
Had Sunday roast, absolutely delicious, first time visiting this pub and will definitely come again.
Another of our random pick of places to visit for Sunday roast. Glad we choose this place as the food was amazing and the service was excellent, we will be coming back again to try the rest of the menu. The pub itself is really nice with a good atmosphere and would love to come here in the summer
Excellent food from a varied and original menu, and clearly fresh and cooked to order. Portion sizes were good. Service was efficient, friendly and attentive. The restaurant ambience was pleasantly calm, despite being full. Possibly not the cheapest venue in the area, but you definitely get what you
Lovely pub, beautiful setting. Food good, but expensive. Very small portion size on main and (£8.50) dessert. I’m not big eater, but I do like a decent plate of food. Probably not the first stop if you’re famished! Great spot for a pint though!
