Popped in this afternoon for a bite to eat. Never really noticed the place before, but now I'm gutted that we've missed out on the food for so long! The Classic Po' Boy was delicious (made extra special with the addition of the Creole gravy that comes with it). My wife had the "Avo, Bacon and Eggs" which was also fantastic. Friendly staff and awesome food, I can't praise this place highly enough.
Had an incredible reunion with my Salford University colleague, Ms. Ami Sheriff, whom I haven't seen since 2018 β that's a whole 5 years! Time truly flies. We shared wonderful stories about our adventures and caught up on all that's happened during these years. So glad and happy to have finally seen her today at Henry Boddington, and we celebrated with some delicious well-done steaks. Cheers to the journey we've both had! π₯π #Reunion #GoodTimes
Absolutely brilliant! Chef substituted the sausage for a vegi one. Delish π
Food was really nice, the drinks service however, was very slow. I ordered on the website and had to follow up at the bar 15 minutes later to ask where our drinks were.
Highly recommend the chocolate brownie dessert and apple crumble if you have a sweet tooth!
The pub was extremely busy on our visit so would advise going a little bit earlier if you want quicker service.
Went here for the first time yesterday. We all had excellent food fast friendly service and a good atmosphere. We were only over from Halifax but will be back again when I the area. The chicken masala was lovely. π
The sign says "Bar & Grill," so I walked in, hoping to get something to eat. Only to be told there's no food available. Apparently, it's just a bar. There's no grill. As a bar, though, it's pretty great. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Good spot to hang with the lads.
Well Iβve just got home from having a beautiful meal, I thought Iβll probably have fish n chips. I saw the salmon on the menu it was so gorgeous that I had to ask to speak to the chef Lewis rather than compliments to the chef. Honestly Lewis please stay there I will be back stunning meal xx
Not ranked food as did not eat, had a fiftieth birthday drink, atmosphere was good without being too loud so could still have good conversation. Staff were on point, and no-one had to wait excessively for service at the bar.
Great place for business lunches.
I go with some regularity to meet some of my in that area customers for lunch. The food is of a decent standard and reasonably priced.
Itβs always very clean and super tidy and the customer service is of the highest standard.
Really great bar staff. Always chatty and really friendly.
Especially Amanda the General Manager. All pubs need an Amanda.
Amanda clearly runs a tight ship and leads from the front in all areas.

Its nice and decent pub food, its a lovely place with a pool table and the service was friendly and kind. The garlic bread was really good
Arrived 5 minutes before food was closed for the evening, so didn't have a lot of time to study the menu, so I went for the fish and chips, though they didn't have any peas, was offered beans, would of preferred some salad. Food came pretty quick and was hot, not offered any sauces, only found out that they were on a table near the toilets after I had eaten and needed the loo. We also decided to move seating area's due to football on TV and was noisy. Staff were polite and was nice to see one brushing up broken glass in the car park.
Absolutely amazing meals, both starter and main came out in a good amount of time, piping hot and perfect to eat! Would 100% recommend!
Had mix grill standard of food was great and everything was cooked to perfection if I could give 6 stars out of 5 I would exceptionally nice π
4 diners --We were served our meal within 30 mins of arrival which was great, the service was good, and the staff were very curtious. Will definitely dine here again soon.
I had a 5oz rump steak with peppercorn sauce etc and it was beautiful. I hope my compliments to the chef were passed on .
