Brilliant atmosphere, great staff, fantastic service. Oh and the food was quit good too. Well recommended. I have always liked this pub, started going here back in the late 70's, even though it might of change over the years it is still a great place to go. I have always like the outside seating are it has just got better and better.
Had a great night at the White Horse last night watching a Bon jovi tribute act. He was excellent and had the place rocking. We did not eat but the party we were with did and all enjoyed the excellent food. Highly recommend you give it a try! ... :)
Went here yesterday on way into manchester. Staff was great. Orders two Sunday dinner with chicken beef duo. I couldn't even eat my chicken as was too full. I did pay for pig in blanket but they didn't have any so swapped for Yorkshire pudding. I was owed like 20p which if I was offered the refund I would have declined but other people not be happy. Decor loverly. Friendly staff. Comfy seats. Will defo go again.

My daughter and I called for lunch during the week. Hadn't been in here for a while, The interior is lovely but the outside could do with a little TLC. Good choices on the menu and a well stocked bar. Our meals were served in average time and were lovely, well presented and tasted great, the desserts were mouth watering ! Andrew ( trainee manager I think ) was very welcoming and polite, providing excellent service. Will be visiting again soon.

Fabulous medium rare steak, sweet potato fries and trimmings and lemon meringue pie for afters! Also a nice pint of John Smiths! Topped off a lovely afternoon with my mate! We will definitely come again!
Friendly helpful staff. Busy for a Tuesday evening which surprised me, but could be because of the lovely weather. Food lovely and plentiful. Very fast service, didn't have to wait long at all. Such good value. Beer garden been done up since the last time I visited and looks great. Definitely recommend.
Great local, good to watch the sport and have some drinks.
Fair prices and nice staff too.
Dog friendly as well.
Best part is the outdoor screen in the beer garden for watching sport in the sun.
Just got home after a lovely meal at The White Horse. Food was piping hot, very tasty and reasonably priced. The dessert...we decided to have the mini pudding with coffee...it was perfect 🥰
I took my dog into the pub as well...he was made very welcome and he also enjoyed the evening too. Will definitely visit again. 😊
Can't Comment on Food as I was only having a Drink!! Staff were Excellent, Reasonably Priced Drinks. Excellent Atmosphere. Well worth a Visit if you are in the Area.
Can't really share opinions on food as I didn't eat but menu looked really nice. Atmosphere and service was really nice and would recommend a visit. Beer garden really nice to.
Visited this lovley pub on a Sunday for a roast lunch and it was very good decision! I had the lamb shank and my missus had the roast half chicken. Both came with good size veg, a yorki pudding and gravy! Finger licking good! Both of us left empty plates. Well done chef.
Good pub food and not expensive. Reasonable choices on menu and good service. Will return to White Horse

Big pub, plenty of atmosphere. Didn't have food but great drinks selection. Only popped in for one, stayed for three 🙄.
