Been here a few times for food. Normally have a pizza. But on my last visit i had a carvery and omg it was amazing. Especially the potatoes! Also may I add the lady who served me at the bar was so helpful her customer service was exceptional.. I think her name was Emma. Nothing was too much trouble
Called here for an all you can eat breakfast that didn't include mushrooms as you have to pay extra for them. Service was quick however a few minor issues..
We were told after paying that there was no toast today but you could pick up fried bread instead.(no biggy)

Was up this area on business, and stopped for dinner. Had a really nice pizza.. Appeared fresh and made on the premises, not like shop bought. Staff were friendly and had a lovely chat with one of them. Would visit again, if in the area.
We had a fantastic Sunday lunch here yesterday. Very reasonably priced with lots of options.
The food was excellent, good selection of meats, all the food it was piping hot. It was very well staffed, very courteous and friendly table service and no queue at the bar when it was quite full.

Warm atmosphere. (Now they can control the heating) Great to gossip/chat and have a pint! Have you tried the all you can eat breakfast? Ask the lovely Emma to read the menu to you! Or even better read it to her she loves to hear her patrons verse the menu! 😀
We love the carvery, can’t go wrong here. Only thing that lets this place down is every time we go, at least half of the dessert menu is unavailable.
Food was lovely, carvery is as expected from one of these places but a nice variety of meats. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Ordered on the app and drinks were at the table within about 5 minutes.
Amazing meal here. The all day breakfast calzone was incredible. Tasted really fresh with the red onion and tomatoes and presented superbly. The beer battered mushrooms, I could eat all day. The app is relatively easy to use (a bit laggy).

We went for breakfast today there was good choice and everything was fresh.. kitchen member Kaidan was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Just think the decor is looking a little tired
Friendly environment where everybody is made to feel welcome. Staff are genuine and friendly and always make my 3 year old son feel welcome and comfortable. Great food and even better Drinks! Whether you're wanting some quiet family time or a good few drinks with friends, the Red Lion Aka 'The Cat'

The food was amazing had a great time the waiter "Mathew" was amazing and made sure are food was to a great standard. Very nice restaurant would recommend.

Friendly staff, good value beers, friendly atmosphere and they show most sports on different tv’s to please most people.

Food was great, freshly cooked, however the atmosphere was flat and the staff didn't look happy to be there
The service was a little 'thin on the ground' of staff, went for breakfast which was nice although the menu advertised certain foods which simply wasn't available. When asked about this was told it's not something they do.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this establishment for excellence of the food attitude of the staff and quality of the beer, you will not be disappointed if you visit
