Lovely village pub on the main road between Bristol and Bath with a large garden and car park. Plenty of tables inside and out, good menu with gluten free options, great beer and cider choices. Food was excellent and so was the service from the young staff.

You’ll feel in a movie, you’ll feel in a story, A countryside pub in all it’s own glory. Staff is lovely and will make you feel at ease, as you long as you have manners and say please. Food is fresh and cooked straight away, don’t think they freeze, even lemons tastes like they were freshly squeezed. Ideal place to come in a big group and with kids, they cater for everything even for unexpected bits. Even if you keep on dropping the lids, you’ll be able to peacefully ask the bill to be splits.

We had a lovely family Sunday roast here and we will be coming back regularly. The service was fast and friendly and you couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Really liked their Five Beans dish, although I am not a vegetarian. Found the dish both innovative and delicious. Place and location both superb. Friendly staff just felt they might be a bit too busy adding a little bit of rush into the otherwise relaxing atmosphere. On the whole, very satisfied and love to go there again.

We were on our way into Bath to get something to eat and went past The Swan Inn on route and decided to have a quick look and see if they had any tables! Thankfully they did! Pub has a great old school vibe about it which we love. Service was prompt and so was the food. On this occasion I had the chicken burger which was amazing and shared sides of cheesy garlic bread and Onion rings. All amazing! And dessert I had the mixed berry crumble which was so good! Overall we were very happy we stopped off here and will definitely be coming back. And on our way out noticed the pub had a large pub garden which would give fantastic views sitting out in the summer!

Great food, attentive and friendly staff, and a good atmosphere. A great place for Sunday lunch or a pint (or three) in the beer garden. Family and dog friendly. Highly recommended

My first solo evening at a pub ! I came to watch the live music at Swinefest, especially to see Moon Rivers, who were very good. Didnt have food so cannot comment on that. It was very busy there but still got served very quickly. My first solo event was enjoyable despite being out of my comfort zone 😂

This place has a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend a visit here. Staff were very friendly and safety measure as being well executed. Roast dinner was delicious! Brownie wasn't the gooeyest, but mixed with the ice cream was lovely. Portion sizes were huge too! Definitely a place to visit.

Really good food. Service also good. Sat on table 13 lots of people traffic, going outside. Inconsiderate people leaving fire door open on way to outside bar. Overall enjoyed and will definitely go again.
