We dine here regularly for lunch and it’s our favourite Indian in Swindon. We have tried lots of different dishes on the menu and they are always delicious and well presented. The restaurant is great value for fresh authentic food. The service is great. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. W
It is one of the best Indian restaurants we have eaten at. The food is delicious, so well made, and we are waiting to come back again. 😋 We had some vegetarian side dishes, chilli nan, mushroom rice, and a main of lamb rogan josh. Really delicious 😋

I had the madras, with nan bread, onion bhaji. Not a bad curry, would give it a 6.5/10, good service but lacking an atmosphere.
The restaurant has only been open 2 months and we initially walked past it one lunchtime, noticing that they were open at lunch.

The Raj is totally different to any of the "just another Indian restaurant". In order to realise this major difference, just walk in and ask for the chef's special "Molecular Gastronomy" dishes. These dishes will blow your mind as they look like supermodels and taste like a dream.
Absolutely first class. Very friendly staff that make you feel very welcome. Food is outstanding. Don’t think I’ve had, in fact I know now I’ve never had a better Madras than what I had in the Raj. Marks out of 10? 11.
Been at this place 4 times in last 7 weeks. Food is amazing, service is excellent, price bit on higher side but who cares when the food is delicious. Every time I have been there the level of spice and quality was constant and oh yes presentation is really appealing. I'd recommend the Raj any time.
The place was very clean, tidy, our server Ralf was most helpful, proactive, took interest in our experience and made sure that we had everything in the way we asked for. The food was very well presented, delicious.

Went with a work group of 13... unlucky for some! The food was great but unfortunately the service was extremely slow and rather disorganised. Thankfully we had good company to distract.
