Great place located in town center , great place for break during shopping or just to pop in with friend for food and drink . Visit many times , it's great to sit with friends no music so u don't need yo shout to each other. Affordable prices , big choice of food and drinks. I know its a chain pub but food never disappointe. U can use app to order which some people might like .
Great place for drinks, breakfast and dinner. Still reasonable prices during recession, big full English for £5.90. Desserts 4.55. Fast service. 10 to 12 mins wait only.
Fab choice of drinks and food at a fair and reasonable price. So nice not to be ripped off by over inflated prices on food and drink! And the ability to order from your table is an added extra.
Can't fault the place. It is excellent for a Wetherspoons. Definitely the best Wetherspoons I've ever been to. Food is very good for a Wetherspoons, and the staff are really friendly. They're always happy to help and always ask how your meal is. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed.
Food served promptly and of a good standard. Very good value for money. Well done all.
Very nice food for really cheap amount. Traditional pub with nice staff. The toilet looks like very...old fashion I will say.
Visited twice as I was staying in Swindon. Good place to sit down have a few drinks and meal. Probably the only restaurant not closing early while everything shuts down at 10 pm in the town
As wetherspoons go this one is not bad at all. Large and doesn't feel crowded. Only one coffee machine working today which meant a queue but bar staff were helpful.
A decent pub on the outskirts of the Swindon town centre, representing a branch of JD Wetherspoons. Tasty food and a wide variety of drinks at great prices. Nice atmosphere and very spacious! For those who appreciate a good Wetherspoons carpet, the carpet in here is very floral and rather clean too! 🌼
Anyhow, despite Tim Martin being a Tory-backing, Brexit-supporting gammon, you just can't help visiting his pubs 🤷🏼♂️🤣🇪🇺❤️
Love this place always a great atmosphere especially on match days . Food cheap and cheerful and staff are excellent, very friendly credit to weatherspoons.
4th July 2023
we were out again, our first stop was here at the Savoy.
Not many in here tonight, though our table service from the App, was very slow! We could see the drinks left on the bar🤷♂️🤷♂️ and no one brought them over!😡
It was pm cold🥶 in here tonight, think they had the Air con set on the coldest setting! We would of stayed for several more drinks, but left after the first as we were all cold!🥶🥶🥶
Shame, they missed out on our business tonight🤷♂️
Previous visit.
We all had our drinks,
Popped into town on Sunday evening to come the Savoy.
There wasn't many people in here!
We got served our drinks quickly.
Chose a strawberry fruit cider and my mate had an IPA beer, all on draught.
The prices were amazingly good! £5.86 for both of them👍😀 so we enjoyed a couple of rounds of these.
Was nice that we could chat and hear each other easily, without too much noise, that a busy pub would create.
The food menu is very good value and lots of choice for all types of food choices.
Would of normally had a meal here as its always tasty and a prompt service.
We had come into town for our usual Indian sit down meal nearby, that's the only reason for not eating here tonight.
Would recommend this Wetherspoon pub😀👍
Arguably the best Wetherspoons Breakfast I have experienced so far. You know what you're getting with Spoons - however, this time I was more than pleasantly surprised.
I go there regularly after work on a Friday for a couple of pints
Service with a smile, tables are cleaned and ready for the next customer pretty quickly, (obviously a little longer during busier times).
A vast range of beverages and food.
For a Wetherspoons this pub was fantastic. I went on a Friday night and while it was busy it wasn’t rammed like most spoons on a Friday night. Whether the design of the building itself or just the Clientele but the ambient noise level was such that one could speak normally over the hubbub which made the experience all the better. Of course don’t get me wrong this is no Michelin starred eating establishment, no it’s a Wetherspoons and you should expect a Wetherspoons but as Wetherspoons go this is my favourite and I will certainly go again when I’m next in Swindon.
