Exactly what you expect from a carvery, in a good sense. Good range of drinks, main meat and sides. Cosy interior. Clean and tidy. Friendly staff.

Breakfast buffet with my nephew. Food was all stocked and available and hot. Pub was tidy and tables clean. Very good value for money. Can't really comment on service as was self-serve. And atmosphere as we were all eating, not partying. Would recommend.

We booked for a party of 9 but my son failed to mention my use of a wheelchair , we had been allocated a table which was just right for us. The waitress was young and reasonably efficient getting my granddaughter's pudding order slightly wrong she brought another quickly and left the other for Her Daddy to enjoy. Having a small appetite I had a child size plate which was perfect for me.p We all enjoyed our meals. A very good evening for us all.

Went to Sunday breakfast. The staff were wonderful. Two customers got irritated and tried to cut the queue and then were yelling and threatening the staff because of what they called a long wait. The staff handled the situation calmly and professionally. There was no long wait to be seated. The food was delicious as always.

Left full! Great value, and the service was excellent by Emma, who is an absolute credit to the team. She was the best host we have had at any restaurant for over a year in Swindon. Thank you so much Emma, you are a such a wonderful person and will be back to hopefully be served by you one day!!😀

Really nice but lately the potatoes have not been cooked well and were slightly still hard. Also gravy lately has been runny It used to be nice and thick I understand some like runny so do one runny and one thick. Also so many of your sausages are wasted we were told they are put in the bin so if customers ask for one Surely it's best to give them one and have a happy customer rather than put it in the bin.

As a family dinner out for the wife's birthday, Toby Carvery was definitely value for money. We helped ourselves to as much or as little food on our plates as we wanted. We paid for the "unlimited" refills on our drinks, having brought the kids, this is again extremely good value for money, as they had a few refills each. As usual, the food was amazing and the service was great. We will 💯 be back again soon. Thank you.

Came here on a busy Sunday for a carvery dinner. We didn't have a reservation so we had to wait about 40mins for a table. There was very limited space to wait in the bar area also. There was about a 15min wait then to be served at the carvery itself but they were waiting on some food to be brought out so there was another 5min wait while at the carvery. Then the condiments station was empty incl the gravy (all 3 pots of it) so there was another 5-10min wait. So as much as the food was great and I understand they were busy, I think a lot of the waiting could've been avoided if they'd kept up with demand. I mean they're a carvery 7days a week so it's not like it was a one off where the staff were unprepared. I will note the staff were friendly. I would come back here again but not on a Sunday and only if they were quiet.

The food (especially the amount, given the fairly low cost- when going for the carvery option) is always great. Service is as prompt as it can be, given that there are only a small number of staff for a fairly large amount of tables. It can be pretty busy most days, and isn't the quietest atmosphere (if that's what you're looking for), and I definitely recommend booking ahead most days, but overall all it is still a nice place to spend with friends or family for a hearty meal. My one big complaint is that the cutlery that is given in order for customers to serve themselves their own sides (mashed potatoes, vegetables, etc.) are all kept under the same heating lamps that keep the food hot. My fingers/hands have been burned on multiple occasions, and I would encourage (and have verbally done so) for this establishment to look into ways of changing that.

We went for a breakfast and they seem to have some new things on offer... Sweet pancakes! 😋 yum! And black pudding... As always, lots of food, nice selection and we left very happy! Always seem happy and friendly.

First time in Toby carvery at swindon. Seated promptly and drinks order taken. Our waitress Emma was great and really helpful and friendly. We had carvery and dessert, the carvery meat selection was beef, gammon, pork and turkey with fresh selection of vegetables and potatoes. Slightly disappointed with the pigs on blankets as the bacon was burnt but the sausage rather hard. Everything else was good. Would reccomend to others for a good meal. Thanks Emma and keep up the great work 👍

Lovely carvery. Excellent choice of vegetables and variety of meats. One guest was a Vegan and had no problems. Full menu available and gorgeous desert menu. Full bar or tea and coffee if preferred.

It was a pretty relaxing place, people were polite. Portions were fair. Came here because I wanted a comfort dinner, wasn't disappointed. Bailey's Latte was definitely what I needed after a rough week!
