Absolutely brilliant. Food is top notch prices are extremely reasonable, staff are very friendly and polite. Fish is freshly fried chips are Absolutely amazing. Its cash only but definitely worth the trip, you definitely won't be disappointed. 10/10

Fantastic Fish and chips. I had Plaice which was amazing and my hubby had Haddock which was also particularly good. Freshly cooked to order and a queue outside. They are only open certain days of the week so best to schedule fish and chips night around that! 😊
I've been wanting to try out the fish and chips for a long time after being told how lovely it was.
So today I travelled from my village and brought fish and chips and curry sauce.
Well it was fantastic the fish over half filled my plate and so fresh and tasty, the chips was so fresh and the curry sauce was the best I've ever had. My carer had a chicken burger and chips and she also said it was amazing, better than McDonald's and also very filling. Also it was a very good price for what you get it's worth a lot more .

Service was absolutely brilliant. We requested for our fish to be cooked separately due to dietary needs, and the father and daughter were more than happy to help. The food was delicious as well. It is truly one of the best fish and chip shops in swindon. Will definitely go again.

A nice fish & chip shop, friendly staff but really long queues. The chips were really thick and tasty. The fish wasn't really what I like, I don't like fish that has what I call a thumb; I like one piece of fish which is thick nearly all the way down. But saying that, it was tasty but just not quite for me!!
Best fish and chips I've personally had in Swindon, generous portions reasonably priced. Friendly service. Can't recommend them enough.
Just ordered fish & chips from Philips and they were probably the best we’ve ever had. My husband who isn’t really a fan of fish and chips said they were really good. The batter was crispy and the fish was delicious. The small chips are like an extra large portion. Brilliant! 10/10
You can tell if the chippy is a good one by the queue at 5pm....... here there was a decent queue, so gave it go. (Lesson learnt from stopping at the empty ones in a street where there is more than takeaway, there's usually a reason why! )
And Well worth the wait. Really friendly staff, so a good atmosphere while waiting, reasonable prices and the food was great.

Probably the best in chippie Swindon with a good choice of items on the menu. Excellent quality every time but shop is not open every day. Also get long queues forming outside sometimes so that's a few more times that I have just walked past. But its worth the wait. Take away only.
Rob has been serving us for many years. Followed him to his current premises when he moved from Drove Road. The best fish and chips in Swindon. The queue shouldn't put you off. Well worth the wait.
