The Bakers Arms - Swindon - Photo album

Fish pie was good and homemade with cheese as well as potato. The Cod in batter was light and cooked well.
What a gem of a place. Great Country Pub. Food is delicious and the drinks didn't disappoint. Car parking is available but not many spaces so you might finish up on the road. Well worth a visit.
This whole review is based on the amazing fish and chips. It is certainly up there with the best fish and chips I've ever had, I would highly recommend a visit purely for this meal
The most amazing fish and chips! Fresh crispy and a fabulous size portion. , I am more than happy to highly recommend and can't wait to go back 😊
Lovely roast dinners, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Overall a lovely experience.
Sunday lunch for 7 people was served by welcoming and friendly staff. Good value for money and nice to get several alternatives to the standard Sunday lunch menu.

Great little pub. Cosy, great beers and great food.
Popped in for lunch on a Friday and both had the fish and chips, touted as being famous thereabouts. Was absolutely as fantastic as they claim, a really very good fish and chips, and the rest of the menu looked great. Shall visit again!
The food was absolutely delicious, I had fish and chips, the rest of my party had sea food platter,
When the sign outside said, 'Best Fish & Chips in Dorset' I though, 'Bold statement, friends.' Turns out, it was bloody right! I'll be back.
A really friendly pub and great food. We had Sunday Lunch.
Friendly welcome, prompt service and tasty food. The batter on the fish and chips was light and non greasy. Excellent
My wife and I met our son and his fiancée here for lunch today, being halfway between our houses. Three of us had the fish and chips and one had the veggie bean burger. All meals were of exceptional quality and the fish and chips were one of the best I have ever eaten. This will become our go-to m
Lovely friendly country pub. Food was amazing. We had the famous Bakers arms fish and chips. You get a large piece of fish plenty of chips and a choice of peas puree, garden peas or Salad. It lives up to it name as the best fish and chips. The Barkers Arms is also Dog friendly.
The Sunday Roast was amazing. Plenty of gorgeous beef, beautiful roast potatoes and vegetables. Dessert of crumble and custard was a good bowlful and delicious. Shame I live so far away as I would definitely go there regularly. The lady serving was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Than
Don't order the large fish & chips....it WILL beat you. Pork ribs amazing .....but huge!!!!! Gorgeous food....may have gone into a food coma.
