As a visitor to the area only, we located this gem originally in 2022 and had the best rump steaks ever. Sadly in 2023 we had the worst rump steaks ever, even when one was replaced. Absolutely stunning pub/restaurant. Staff friendly, girl was a bit shy but no issues. Took a while for us to be served at the table but we were in no rush. Great atmosphere, lovely food, plenty of space and clean. Dessert special had ran out (fudge cake) was a bit disappointing but obviously popular
Lovely lil pub. Went to a family event there. Food was good & service you couldn't fault. Everybody seemed to enjoy the day of memory. Was surprised as too how big the pub actually was inside. Garden great too and section for kids to play in.
Excellent portions, very tasty home made food (not to mention a very large menu!). Asked for a few alterations on the menu and they met our every need. Fantastic pub, the food is excellent, value for money and a great selection too. Staff are brilliant, friendly and polite, a very traditional Inn with lots of character, plenty of tables inside and outside. Been here twice whilst on holiday, you won't be disappointed.
The plough has really been great during the summer holidays. They have definitely been an asset in the community. Good play area and on some days free tea/coffee and free juice for the kids. Well done 👏. We've enjoyed spending time there 👍

The beer garden was incredible as we got to share a round of drinks and unfortunately didn't' get to eat here as we were BBQ'ing later that day
Staff kindly gave us a lemon for our gins later that evening as we was camping! Very helpful despite the weird request on our part 😂
Loved it! Had a panini the first day- delicious! Had a Sunday dinner the next day, vegetables were actually cooked ( most places cause me to moan) and everything was well ok!
Excellent service, fantastic food... Great garden for children as well as adults because so big.
Been going to the pub for the last 69yrs on and off never been not made welcome eat there on occasion food has always been good to excellent can't see any reason why I won't be back
