This place needs to proper TLC by owner. And some more staff in maybe for deep clean. Cos their staff trying their best already all I can see. Some of the sache sauces was out of date. Also dinner went out after 52 minutes waiting time. However my review is 4 stars cos of their lovely and helpful staff.
Have been coming here for a number of years and the food is always good. Last week we had delicious Cod, fish & mushy peas (something we oldies never cook at home). Thought we'd have the same again today so three of us ordered the Cod and two the cheaper one. However, I think we three had the cheaper and the other two had the delicious white flaky Cod. So next time we'll have to say something because we were so disappointed. In saying that, I'm sure if we had complained they would have corrected it so in future we'll be more careful. Normally excellent!
Linden Tree was lovely, the food was cooked very well and the pub has a very calm, welcoming atmosphere. Have been a few times and the prices are quite cheap compared to some other places.
