Called in yesterday after a long walk around the hills. had a meal outside as we had our dog with us. Lovely looking old pub. Was spotless inside. Woman behind the bar was so friendly and inviting. Food was lovely πŸ˜‹ and served really quickly. Even had proper chips πŸ˜‹. All washed down with a nice cold pint. Would definitely recommend a visit πŸ‘Œ

The family that run this pub were lovely and super welcoming! They chatted away with our group who came from all over the world and we were all able to share a laugh! The landlord actually walked us out to our vehicles to see us off so have no hesitation recommending this venue whatsoever! Check it out ;=)

Very friendly family run pub. Delicious home cooked food - lovely to have home cooked food options for kids too. We all left very well fed and happy after a very pleasant meal and some pleasant conversations with the family. Will definitely be returning.

The pub is a lovely pub with a great friendly atmosphere, the food was amazing, and plentiful. Real chips too. A good selection of beers and lagers. I would highly recommend the Gwynnes Arms.

We were a coach party of 38 and had a warm welcome at the door by the owners. We particularly liked the option of small meals, which were really good.

We were camping at the Brecon Beacons Caravan Park and Camp Site nearby and chose this pub as being the nearest and having good reviews. Food was good and the staff were attentive, engaging and keen to provide a good service. We would definitely go here again when visiting the area.

Very clean and organized as you would expect during covid. Traditional pub with proper pub food. Staff very attentive to service and open to accommodate choice inside or outside tables. Food was very good with homemade choices and real chips. Puddings had to have three between two of us as couldn't decide between rice pudding or trifle πŸ˜‰πŸ˜„. Good prices, quick service and the beer tastes good.

Great meal at the Gwyn Arms. We both had the home cooked steak stew with hand made chips and peas and shared the sticky toffee pudding which was amazing. Like most business at the moment they are struggling, so if eating out well worth giving it a go. Lovely talking to the family / owners - very friendly. Will be visiting again when back in Wales for some hill walking.

The pub is set in a beautiful location, we stopped in on our holiday because of that. The staff were welcoming and very attentive to anything we wanted or needed. We really enjoyed our food and drinks - the only reason it isn't 5 stars is because we thought it was a little expensive. Would recommend for a nice meal out!
