What a magnificent Spoons The Bank Statement is. Not only on the outside but also it carries on inside with it's beautiful architecture and decor it truly is a thing of beauty. We called in for a brekkie and ordered. I normally have the traditional breakfast but fancied a change. Had beans on toast and to be honest wasn't overly happy with the amount of beans on the plate, it was still hot and nice but maybe up the portion size please. Prices were good for a town centre and it is easy to find. No parking on site but car parks are walkable. Called in later for Steak Club and again food was lovely. There is a nice surprise of a beer garden upstairs. Found that while on the search for the toilets which is a trek in itself because this building is vast so if you get list send a search party lol. A great Spoons in a great city.

Not a huge fan of the chain, and even less of a fan of the owner, but that has never stopped me taking advantage of their competitive prices!.. Situated in what appears to be the entertainment center of Swansea, and as a visiting football fan, I can tell you that Swansea on a Saturday night is well worth a visit, as is this place... Definitely one of the better franchises in the chain. Friendly staff, friendly locals, and good beer.

I know a Saturday is busy but I must have a face that says don't serve her?? We waited 25 minutes and customers either side of us were being served. It was our first drink and I was asking to be served when it was our time but unfortunately we couldn't get served. A lovely young lady spotted us and said oh god you've been here ages I'll serve you next, we thanked her, then she came to us to say she was going on break... 45 mins later we were served lol

8am breakfast in November. Had Egg Benedict. Nice portion. The hollandaise sauce is delish, though would prefer the eggs poached than half boiled. But overall is delish. Service staffs are friendly. The environment is nostalgic. Have yet to visit for night drinks. The toilet nice too. 😍👍

It's a spoons, most people are familiar. The roof terrace is great in the sun but a bit much as everyone is crammed in. The back room is a bit meh, the main bar is great if you get a seat, its a nice space. It gets very busy, it was packed today and the pubs around it were empty, so the drinks prices clearly work. The best place to sit in fine weather is out the front. Drinks are cheap mostly but the food is enough money now that you could go elsewhere and get better for the same or a little less. Service is great, friendly and helpful, despite the pressure. Food hasn't been brilliant at spoons since covid, it's alright but not as good as it was. At current prices it makes you think about eating elsewhere and having drinks there after. Not a criticism of this particular spoons just a general comment on spoons pubs everywhere really.

Really good Weatherspoons, It was very quiet when we arrived (8 in the morning) Staff were really nice and they even asked us how our meal was which doesn't happen very often in Weatherspoons. Food was hot and we didn't have to wait too long, we were able to swap some of our items on our breakfasts which was great. Filled us up and a great price as well! Toilets were clean, nothing to complain about with this branch!

Really enjoyed the 'gormet' steak and chips. Friend's pizza was a bit lifeless. Other friend enjoyed his burger. Huge dish of apple crumble and ice cream. Don't sit near the stairs as every noise from the kitchen is deafening! The outdoor dining areas looked inviting in the evening sun.

Food an average Wetherspoons, clean and tidy with nice decor inside. Service rather slow but was very busy weekend due to gorgeous weather. Not allowed to take drinks outside after a certain time. Understandable for perhaps youths but 3 women in their 60s unlikely to be antisocial! Also, really loud music. Never known music in Wetherspoons and certainly not that loud! Good value though, as usual.

One of the better Spoons. Friendly and polite staff. Great choice of beer. Proper prices. Didn't eat so can't comment, but it was chocker full of diners early evening so they can't be doing much wrong.

Got some good memories in this pub. I'd say Wetherspoons is pretty consistent across the board so this review is based on the fascinating interior. Pretty strange to think it was once a bank. I wonder where they hid the safe? Rooftop area is nice as well, although a little grimy compared to inside which is fairly clean. Expect heavy business, the occasional nuisance, and thick crowds on weekends. Can be very loud during these times.

A decent pub in Swansea town centre, representing a branch of JD Wetherspoons. Tasty food and a wide variety of drinks at great prices. Nice atmosphere and very spacious! For those who appreciate a good Wetherspoons carpet, sadly there's no carpet in the main pub area, however there is a very nice blue, black, and white chequered tile layout throughout! 🙌🏻 Anyhow, despite Tim Martin being a Tory-backing, Brexit-supporting gammon, you just can't help visiting his pubs 🤷🏼‍♂️🤣🇪🇺❤️

Hoped to have a burger but none were available on this visit. Had a steak which was a bit on the fatty side but everything was hot and wait times were good. Nice ales as usual and a nice venue to be in.
