Decided to give this pub another chance, having been disappointed on several occasions by very poor service when it was called the Dylan Thomas. Decor is still the same but the rebranding has definitely improved the service. Called early evening on a weekday and had no problem getting a table. Menu had been updated, and while it is still all typical pub grub fare there are good value offers and a good selection to choose from. Meal was tasty although my mixed grill was definitely on the well done side despite asking for medium. Blue Light card accepted but only for main meals.
Staff here were amazing, the level of service was excellent and so friendly, big up to them!
6 of us ate here and most of the food was great. The burgers were excellent so was the mini mixed grill and the scampi. As was the garlic bread, although we ordered cheesy and it didn't have cheese. The onion rings were great too. Didn't have room for dessert but had already ordered it due to the kitchen closing so the staff boxed it up for us with heating instructions. Amazing staff who also helped us to us our tesco vouchers.
Only 3 little niggles were having to give 2 hours notice to book online, hence the kitchen was closing otherwise we would have been earlier. Other niggle was my medium rare steak was rare as part of a mixed grill. Rest of the mixed grill was excellent. Last one, through no fault of the restaurant was that they were out of lasagne.
Plenty of parking and easy access.

A real surprise staff were great food was served quickly hot fresh and tasty and the dessert was fantastic. Natcho ice cream strawberry's and chocolate. Will definitely go again soon. Oh and the price was great.
Lovely bit of grub 😋 had the Quadziller Burger and Koren BBQ Chicken Burger. Waitress was lovely, food came quickly and it was really tasty and excellent value for money. They have different offers on depending on the day, please see picture. Definitely recommend going😊
P.s the two pint of cider option comes as two separate pints not a stein 😅

This pub is a pleasant enough place. With friendly staff. They offer a good range of food at very reasonable prices. However the actual quality of the food is not that good. It is not terrible but not good either. So if you want a cheap meal that won't kill you in a pleasant pub. Give it a go. Just don't try the Chicken Jalcrasy. It is close to inedible.
very welcoming on the way in and showed us to the table, we asked for a quiet area as we've got an autistic son which they provided no problem, very easy to order food very helpful staff as our son doesn't like food touching they went above and beyond to help with his needs, the meals came out piping hot and very generous portions, our son never praises other places and said how nice the food was there he went up to see sue the manageress to compliment how nice the food was she asked our son he would like to come and say that to the head chef he said yes please sue then took him to the kitchen where he thanked them for the lovely food he's asking when are we going there again as he really enjoyed thank you to all the staff and sue for a enjoyable meal this will be one of our favourite places to go to now for food
Very friendly and welcoming staff, easy to order directly from your table even outside. Allowed my young daughter to share a desert by providing an extra bowl and spoon. Nice food and served in good time, would recommend this pub.
Visited today with family. We all (5 adults, 2 children) throughly enjoyed our food!! It was hot and generous portion sizes.
Didn't wait too long even though it was pretty busy, staff were friendly and welcoming and happy to assist when ever needed.

Food was lovely but long queues at bar to order
Lovely food, park is currently closed and last table in the kids area was reserved. Can order via app, but we went up to the bar which was a little slow. No blackcurrant fruit shoots and no milkshakes from the kids menu. Food has been hit and miss in the past but was stunning this time.
