We love the purple badger. It’s a real gem. Great quality food, great service and a really relaxing environment and great location. We have been many tines. All the meals I’ve had have been great. From simple chicken and chips and burgers to Sunday roast etc. But recently my wife and I had the seafood supper, and it was amazing. I would highly recommend if you have a special occasion or just love seafood.

Called here yesterday for a family meal on our way home from a day in Gower. What a treat, the waitresses were very friendly, perfect service and the food was beautiful. And there was a lovely play area for the children to play. Would definitely return on my next visit to swansea. Thank you .

Tea with Santa 16/12 non stop entertainment for the children they only sat down for 10mins to eat their food! Which was a bag with finger sandwiches, crisps sweets and squash.Adults ordered food, which all of us enjoyed. Lots of bar staff Santa was fab with the children, a little disappointed with the grotto area. ( only the adults noticed) £10 a head excellent value. The venue is spotlessly clean, the ladies toilets in particular lovely soap dispenser! This was my first visit to the Purple Badger and it won’t be my last .Well done especially at this time of year. Highly recommended .

What a lovely place. Been here a few times for Sunday lunch and can never fault it. However, we went to the Christmas market yesterday and I have to say I was really disappointed. For somewhere that has such a high class dining experience the Christmas market was like a jumble sale. Will always continue to go there as normally you can’t fault it 🎅🏻

We regularly go to the badger and our visitors now request it too. The food is always good and a cut above your average pub food and the staff are always helpful and friendly. Its a running joke at work that I'm always suggesting a trip there!

Came down to The Purple Badger this evening for my husbands birthday meal.. The food was very nice, the staff were friendly and helpful and the kids really enjoyed playing in the park There was only one negative and that was that they had run out of chocolate fudge cake (the men's fav!) The deco was really nice inside and my boys are already asking to return to have a game of pool..! Will 100% come back for a visit soon!!

My acoustic duo played at the Purple Badger for the New Year's Eve celebrstions. I just wanted to thank them for such a wonderful night! Their staff are the politest, most professional, most accommodating people in the world, they made my job so easy! It is one of the best venues I've ever had the pleasure to play at, highly recommended!!

Fabulous food, tasty and a good variety of veg ( with the Sunday roast). Good friendly service, thoroughly recommend it... Especially if the sun is out as a great kids play area and lots of out door seating

Under new management in 2023, the staff seem really friendly, there is now a shop on site which is really handy as we live locally. The food in the purple badger is really good value. I had lunch and it was a good portion, the chips were delicious and everything was freshly made.

Easter Sunday lunch. The food was great. A lovely buzz in the bar again. The vegetables were lovely and plenty of them. The lamb was great and a good portion of meat. Profiteroles blanco were lovely with chantilly cream. Staff were great too.

Popped in here impromptu after a day surfing nearby. Four hungry adults and three hungry teens. Wed passed a few places either full or closed or not serving food. I have to be honest we didn't have very high expectations and thought we'd be getting microwaved/frozen food. What we actually got was well cooked and flavourful chicken skewers, burgers, pizzas, salmon and mixed grill. Good hefty portions at a reasonable (but not cheap) price. The shop next door was great to stock up on supplies too.

We had one meal at this restaurant on an immaculate holiday park, enjoying the really good freshly-cooked food, large helpings and friendly, prompt service. There is a very wide choice of food in the restaurant, with the popular basics available at the bar or for takeaway. For the quality and quantity, the prices were fair. We can’t quite give 5 stars due to an accumulation of minor let downs: We had to ask for serving spoons for the vegetables and other ‘accessories’ that should have arrived with, or before the food. We would have liked to finish our meal with a coffee, as would another couple nearby, but the machine was either broken or turned off and there was no back-up like filter coffee. You have to go to the bar for your drinks and pay each time before going back to the table. The only non or low alcohol drink available was a sweet mixed fruit cider, when there are plenty of excellent low alcohol apple ciders available now. Local brewery Gower produce a very reasonable low alcohol IPA, and Guinness Zero is becoming popular. However, there isn’t much competition in the area and we would certainly eat here again. In fact, I've booked a caravan for a 3 day break on the holiday park!

Good service and clean restaurant. Menu on website out of date so didn't have the ploughman's lunch I thought u was going to have. Ordered prawn sandwich, was asked whether I wanted ciabatta or brown bread. I opted for brown bread but it came as a brown seeded baguette cut in half. It was very nice but not the soft brown sandwich I was expecting. Tasty chips and side salad.

Extremely friendly and smiling staff. Decent food and good food. At The time of our travel we were the only one there and were pampered by the staff. Will advise all travelers to take a pit stop at this place.

Today I visited this location together with my friends for the first time, I was pleasantly impressed by the welcoming atmosphere, the very professional and kind staff. The food was extremely tasty, the presentation on the plate impeccable. I recommend this restaurant with all confidence, if you haven't been so far I encourage you to do it, you certainly won't regret it.
