Best fish & chips in Wales, let alone in just Mumbles ... Super friendly staff ... Thanks to the chef for making me a hand made pea fritter too ! ... Chip portions are huge and the curry sauce was fantastic ... Perfectly cooked cod ... :)
First time using this place. My husband had large chips and I had sausage, chips and curry sauce. 2 young girls (and I think) the owner were serving. We travelled from Cardiff bay to visit Athan air museum and decided to visit Mumbles for fish and chips . I looked for the best fish and chips in mumbles and found Johnnies . Although up a side street and up a hill we asked locals for directions we saw this little chippy . Looked very modern , clean

Absolutely incredible lunch yesterday , the most amazing service we’ve ever had (and this includes fine dining restaurants). A special thankyou to the man serving us, possibly the owner, the kindest most genuine lovely person. He brought out 3 large fish with fresh chopped lemon outside to our table

This is quite possibly the best chippy I've been to! The guy who served us was super friendly and helpful, as visitors on holiday we felt really welcome.
